Background Jeer Damn It

Do my ears mistake me or is there a distinct jeer that comes out of the backgroung noise that yells out "God Damn It? "

Yes, I have heard it, too, not just on 25 but also on 24 and perhaps before that.

This. The vendor emphasizes the first syllable of "COTton candy!", and if the sound isn't clear or loud enough, people think he's swearing.

He's only shown up for the playoffs so far in OOTP25 for me. The one that is starting to get on my nerves is someone who sounds like he's calling out for 'Ryan' all the time.

It clearly sounds Cotton Candy when I play the file alone but it the game with the ambience file running I hear GD it. It also seems to play when that sort of reaction would be appropriate for a fan on one side or the other.

What I can't understand is why are they still selling programs in the ninth inning.
Heck, it's hard to find a program -- or at least a $2 scorecard, if you don't want to shell out the $7.50 or so for a program -- in many ballparks.

What I've noticed is virtually every time the guy starts the Here we go now chant.my player makes an out. I wish he'd shut up!

I appreciate this but maaaan, adding logic gates to sound files is hopefully not thought of as a very high priority at all. I'm positive that adding stirrups is a bigger priority for me and I play every game out...

One of my first MLB games was in Philly at old Connie Mack Stadium. My Dad took me to see Willie Mays. For once, we had really good seats, behind home plate. But there was a very large woman near us who screamed "hey Willie" every time he batted. It was terrifying to my young self. My Dad thought it was hilarious. I think Willie finally turned and smiled at her, and she calmed down. I'm very glad she has not been incorporated into the game sound files.

Same. Seems like they've been using the same sound files for YEARS, and they've gotten a bit stale.

All on for me including text to speech doing the play by play. Anything less for me would be boring.

Any file I don't like is easy enough to edit or delete.

A shame more people don't implement this user initiated solution.

I hope the devs don't change it so it sounds like "cotton candy" with ambient on. Instead I'd like it to play only when something bad happens to the home team.
