Yeah, the Titans haven't been super great but a lot of that was because their GM sold them down the river right before the 2022 draft (when he shipped off AJ Brown for the Eagles' 1st and 3rd, which were basically 2nd and 4ths). The GM got fired for that but for whatever reason they decided to still hold Vrabel responsible. Oh well, This is part of why people don't take the Titans as a franchise seriously.

Vrabel is a good coach but he's far from irreplaceable. Back-to-back losing seasons puts every coach on the hot seat. Bill Belichick has won six Super Bowls for the Patriots but now that he's had back-to-back losing seasons people think he's gonna be fired.

My thoughts on NBA coaches...

3. Coaches that are not good enough to win titles. Of course, those coaches get fired.
... applies to NFL coaches. I'd say that so far Vrabel is a 2...

You're right. But this wouldn't affect Belichick. He's not getting fired. He'll be traded. If he leaves New England, it's because he wants to leave. That's only my opinion.

Pete Carrol out as HC in Seattle.

Carolina fans would love it if Pete was hired as GM.

He's staying with Seattle in an advisory capacity. Obviously if someone gave him the bag he'd probably move but he's not a young guy, spry as he might look.

I don't expect anybody with any cred to go to Carolina unless it was strictly a $ grab. Not until Tepper lives down his present rep.

Meanwhile, McAfee says A-Rod will no longer appear on his show during the present season. He says he is happy they can turn their attention to being a sports convo show.

I would like to say anyone like McAfee, who invites Rodgers to speak & thought his irrelevant ramblings were "unexpected" would be shocked killer whales have a tendency to bite.

How goofy would it be if Belichek ended up at Alabama and Saban ended up in New England? It won't happen but it'd be kinda funny.

I'm expecting ESPN to have the 2 of them on a show watching games like the Manning bros.

A coach can't do anything without a QB. He's either retiring or looking for a QB friendly team.

Washington might be a good spot. Possible Chargers, but someone mentioned the owner might be a bit cheap. I heard that exact same thing from someone else on you tube yesterday. Any other possibilities?

He wants that all time wins record.
I think he will also have the all time losses record as well. But when you coach 30 years, you tend to accumulate a good bit of both.

Anyone hiring Belichick will be going against over 50 years of history where no Super Bowl winning head coach has moved to another franchise (as head coach) and won a Super Bowl. Not saying it wouldn't be worth a try, as surely someday, someone will do it...

Mike McCarthy is this year's lone hope at snapping the streak... I believe Doug Pederson & Sean Payton are the only other current HC's to have won a SB elsewhere...

I want the Seahawks to go after Billicek or Harbaugh. We have a history of big name hires with Mike holmgren and Pete Caroll. Dan Quinn would be disappointing.

It will get worse from there.

They're not really going against anything. It's just happenstance that it hasn't already happened.

This year the Cowboys will probably make it to the championship game and lose. I can't tell you the last time they won as an underdog. Just npt happening.

It isn't going to be pleasant. I think the winds will be closer to 15 gust to 28 mph...Wind chill values, or more accurately, Equivalent Chill Temperatures (ECT's), are based on the sustained component of the winds, and not the gusts...but still. ECT values less than 20 below are likely.

Take the under.
