Finding issues with loading prior versions' .uni files. 0.7.1 to be exact, the Loading Uniform screen just loops.

I just discovered that there is a version of Materialize that runs on macOS!
Bounding Box Software released Materialize as open source under the GNU GPL v3 license, and Maikeu Locatelli has created a fork that has some updated functionality and, most importantly, has builds for macOS and Linux! https://github.com/maikramer/Materia...ses/tag/v0.4.2 |

Eriq,
Is there any possibility of a standalone program for generating fonts only, for those of us old fogies who still like to make unis in the old style? Ised

Ah, I did not realize you could save the font only. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

If you're using Windows, you'll want either the setup or the portable. The .rpm is for Linux and won't work on Windows.

Total noob here. First off thank you to OP for this amazing tool you're really doing amazing work.
I have created a uniform and the font stays the same red font when I import the jersey. I tried to import the font but when I "save jersey" there's no TTF font file. Even when I load a file that's in the ootp24/data/fonts directory it doesn't load them and stays red. It seems as if I can import an entire XML file (which is in the zip) but I can't find where I can do that? I've been loading the jersey/pants/cap files individually. Can anybody throw this noobie a bone and help out? I tried to find a basic FAQ but wasn't able to. The readme seems to be more update centric as opposed to a starters guide. If there is something to the effect of a beginners guide that I wasn't able to find a link would be greatly appreciated as well! ![]() Image is the font I have created, the font on the back and the red "regular" font button. Thanks in advance. Last edited by sokoudjou; 01-21-2024 at 03:35 PM. Reason: clerical |

The app doesn't generate TTF files, it generates a PNG file that the game uses and those go in the jersey_fonts folder, not the fonts folder. There's a README file in the zip that explains where things go and how to name them properly.
The XML file can be loaded if you click the "Import colors XML file" button, but that relies on the images all being in the right folders to work correctly. Last edited by eriqjaffe; 01-22-2024 at 11:00 AM. |

I'm probably just being extremely dumb, but I'm having trouble understanding how to save different unis (home/away) for a created team. When I make one uniform set (e.g.) and save it, it saves the whole zip folder, but I don't know how to make the next one (e.g. away) and not wreck the folder.

So you would go to the drop down menu titled "Uniform Type" to select whatever type of uniform it is, from home, away, alternate, etc. Then the program saves it properly as another zip file.

OK, so do I make separate zip files/folders for each uniform? I'm still a little confused, as when I've saved the Home uniform (as Home in the dropdown menu), it makes a zip file for that team and only saves the home uni.

teamcrazymatt, make a separate zip file for each uniform. Use the dropdown menu as thebananabandit suggested. For example "home". Make your uniform edits and save the file. Use the dropdown and change to "away". Make your uniform edits and save the file. Typically you just change colors and the wordmark to make the "away" uniform. Most MLB teams have a light and dark uniform for home and away. Of course you can make uniforms that are totally different.
