Packet?

I don't see a place where all the Negro League players' photos can be downloaded at once. Is there such a file to download?

Please note that I've modified the text accompanying the photo of Pelayo Jr. on page 140 of this thread. The photo is indeed of Pelayo Jr., Elio's brother. It's not clear to me that Pelayo Jr. really was a Negro Leagues player, although he is still listed that way by seamheads.com. His Negro Leagues career would have taken place before he was born. He was born in 1933. See his baseball-reference.com entry:

Jimmy Binder 1930

I didn't see this one on Seamheads. Binder played several seasons with the Homestead Grays and this image was taken from the 1935 team photo that was printed in the Indianapolis Recorder on 6/8/1935. The identifications in that photo helped to find Binder in a recent Hake's auction pamphlet.

Floyd Meshad

Floyd Meshad was the co-owner of the Birmingham Black Barons in 1955. The photo was discovered by SABR member Chuck McGill as part of a series of photos taken at a Negro Leagues reunion in 1995.

Rick Woodward

Woodward was not a Negro Leagues player, but he had a huge impact on Negro Leagues history. He was the owner of the Birmingham Coal Barons, a white minor league team, and he used his money to build the legendary Rickwood Field in Birmingham.

He is shown here in a Coal Barons uniform. The photo is from the same series of shots as the 1995 Negro League Reunion cited above.

Cliff Layton

A photo of Layton has been posted on this thread previously, but it showed him as an older man. This photo shows him as a player for the New York Black Yankees. He pitched for the Indianapolis Clowns in 1954, and then for the New York Black Yankees in 1955.

The photo is from a video on the website abc11.com.

1937 St. Louis Stars

As near as I can tell, almost all of these players pictured are missing Negro League players. This photo was printed in the 6/4/1937 edition of the St. Louis Argus.

A great find, cinemaodyssey! I count nine players who were previously missing. They are Willie V. Davis, Luther Gilyard, Robert Griffin, Joe Burke, Claude Miller, Johnny Reed, Clarence "Lemon" Lamar, Bill Carter, and Les Pearson. A tenth, Tommy V. Johnson, was posted previously, but seems to have disappeared from this thread, so that's another helpful one in this group photo.

Vail Jewell 1937

Here's another guy I had no picture for. He was pictured in the 7/2/1937 edition of The St. Louis Argus upon his debut with the St. Louis Stars.

Joe T. Taylor 1937

In what has proved a gold-mine lately, The St. Louis Argus also printed a photo of Joe T. Taylor with the St. Louis Stars on 7/2/1937.

William Walker 1937

One more from a great team photo of rare players is William Walker, backup outfielder for the 1937 St. Louis Stars. From the same photo as before, printed in the 7/2/1937 edition of The St. Louis Argus.

Eddie Holtz 1919

Digging through the St. Louis Argus, I found a photo of Eddie Holtz (printed as "Holt") in a retrospective the paper did about old St. Louis Giants players. I did not previously have a photo of him. The article was printed on 5/7/1937.
