Eddie Daniels
Eddie Daniels, 2B, is shown in a Pittsburgh Crawfords uniform. Note that this Eddie Daniels is a right-handed thrower who was with the Crawfords in 1945. The more prominent Eddie Daniels was a southpaw pitcher who was with the New York Cubans in 1946 and 1947. Unless there is an error about the known information concerning the second Daniels' pitching arm, it appears that there were two Eddie Daniels in the Negro Leagues at about the same time. Anyone have a photo of pitcher Eddie Daniels?

Robert Abernathy
Robert William "James" Abernathy, according to Baseball-reference.com, was an outfielder with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1945 and 1947, and with the Indianapolis Clowns in 1947. The Baseball Register in THE NEGRO LEAGUES BOOK, edited by Dick Clark and Larry Lester, splits the entry into two different players: James Abernathy and Robert Abernathy. So did the BIOGRAPHICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE NEGRO LEAGUE, by James A. Riley. I'm presuming that Baseball-reference.com has the latest information.
