Why is this card so expensive?

This is my first time playing PT.. I just got this Anthony Young card in a pack, I'm tempted to sell it but also curious what makes it so valuable? Is it because of tournaments? It's not currently in any collection missions

There are currently 10 sell orders so it doesn't seem like it's that rare, but it's selling for 50k+ PP

Speculation that it will be in a mission?

It's a limited edition card. There are only 100 copies of it available.

It also smothers right-handed hitters in Iron tournaments and holds its own against lefties, particularly if used as a reliever where the plus sinker-slider combo will make it even better.

edit: I'd definitely sell it at that L10. How many extra tournament packs will you really get out of this one card?

This is true. But if you are new and don't plan on participating in CAP tournaments, sell, sell, sell!

I didn't know that limited edition meant there's only a 100 of those. Pulled a 99 Limited Edition Dennis Martinez the other day. He's used as a relief pitcher for my team. Wondered why it was going for 250+K

There's different limits on certain cards. Dennis Martinez is a 25-copy LE card, so there are only 25 of them available total.
