1. Contraction- It would be fun to have an option to contract teams and conduct a contraction draft.

2. schedule specific promotions-old timers day, tribute days , retirement of jersey day, cap day ,etc.

3. 2 person booth for commentary for added color ,etc.

4. include field of dreams game or other similar games

5. a scouting combine for draft picks.

6. unique era sound effects , billboards stadium features.

7. ability to have veterans committee additions for HOF

I like a lot of these. Contraction is the hardest. If Selig had followed through and taken away the Twins and Tampa, it would have forced the game to deal with it. Mastering contraction would solve a ton of issues with 19th century play as well and some of the other annoying work-around-to-no-contraction side effects.

In lieu of a scouting combine you can create a development league for draft-eligible players so they can play games in Cape Cod or wherever you like from the announcement to the draft day. See if those you are tracking on your watch list of potential picks perform when playing.

Best you can do for a player coach is, in Commissioner Mode, clone the player, Right click the clone, turn him into a retired coach, edit the abilities to your liking (if desired) and make him the manager.

I serve as my own Veteran's Committee and induct people but it would be a nice feature.

In the create a ballpark feature i'd love for that to be expanded and perhaps era specific. If i want to create a dead ball era type park with perhaps a factory in the background or wooden bleachers , maybe a less perfect type grass field. maybe a 70's 80's era with flashy designs or old school high bounce turf , more of a football/baseball field combo look for some , etc. There could be all sorts of examples and it would be fun to see future field concepts thrown in as well. It would add to the flavor of the game.

era specific storylines would be great , just ones that maybe fit in with the era better. For example my fictional league is in the 20's currently but some stories have a distinctly modern feel .

Of all these, I'd like to see dynamic evolution contraction, but of course I'd want the game to ask me first, "are you okay with this?".

Next would be ballpark features. I don't do a lot with ballpark creation, but if there were more/better features, I would.

IINM, era specific storylines are possible. If you have any ideas for some, submit them and maybe someone will write them up. The In-Game Text board is probably a good place to post storyline ideas.

I like a lot of your ideas. I hope you keep this thread going.
