PT Live

For I think the third time this year I have put in a PT Live roster only to have nothing be in the roster when I look at it at night. Very frustrated as I had Zac Gallen pitching and Schwarber, Bohm who both went yard and Turner and Castellanos from Philly listed the two guys that either did nothing or not much to show I am not just picking names of guys that did well tonight. Also Walker and Carroll from the Dbacks.

Just frustrating to not get any points and now basically have no shot of winning the week.

Happened again yesterday. Happy Father's Day to me my team didn't take. Had Wheeler, Schwarber, Corbin Carroll, Christian Walker JT Realmuto Jesus Lazardo, Trea Turner, Adam Duvall, Rafael Devers, Goldschmidt, Albies. All on my team and nothing showing today. Submitted it both through the regular game and then followed up to make sure through GO.

This is getting really annoying.That is twice in 3 days now

The submit deadline for the day is 10 AM ET. Were your lineup submissions before that deadline? If you submit after that time, then the lineup is submitted for the next day (ie. if you submit today at 11AM, it will be for tomorrow's games).

Also note that points are calculated at around 6AM, so if you check before that time, you will see 0 recorded for the day. You will see the players in the lineup which will show whether the submission for the day came in time, but the actual point values won't show up until after that calculation is done.

What might be happening is hitting "Submit team" instead of "Submit live PT roster" which is a smaller button below the Submit team button. I do this all the time and sometimes I miss a day because of it. Even Rich Grisham himself admitted doing this on a recent stream. Why is "Submit Team" even on this page?

On Go the submit live team button is in upper right corner and the pt regular submit team lower right corner . I’ve made mistake and hit the regular PT submit in lower right . The PT live is a brighter green almost neon . Hope it helps

Yes, I did them prior to 10 AM. The players were showing in the lineup as active and the game told me that I had submitted a roster for the current date. That is why I was so frustrated, I know earlier in the season I had forgotten on days to do it in time but on the 16th and 18th I know I had done it and completely. On the 18th I did it both on my computer and on GO because when I looked around 8 am it hadn't stuck from the one on my computer so I resubmitted.

Maybe I hit the wrong Submit button but I know that it flashed the acceptance saying my team is set for 6/18.

Yes I understand calculation is done at 6 AM but even though the points aren't there until then the players are still listed so that you know who you have and are going to get points for in Past Rosters once the next day is out there to set rosters.

Seems like i am missing points for 2 teams yesterday i entered before 10am and saw it said OK....worst thing is both teams were doing good..can anything be done...thanks

That's the problem. Go and the computer don't know what each other are doing. You upload from the computer, Go doesn't get the message right away and vice versa. I think it's just a timing thing between your devices and the server, so I've learned to use one or the other.

I concur. I made the same error a few times in the early days. So I always tell myself: "hit the green button"

yeah, I've seen the same thing; where I've made lineup changes on my pc first thing in the morning.... then logged into Go not long after to see the old lineup back in place.

gotten into the habit where if I make any morning changes on the pc, I don't log into Go until after the first sim of the day; at which point those changes will show there as well.

Hear hear. Despite knowing about this since GO first came out, I forgot about it yesterday and logged into one of my teams to check the PT Live results. Zap. Entire roster reset, which was a major change, since I just created this team on Tuesday and was furiously completing live missions. Went from a roster of Gold and Diamond cards back to the typical Starter Pack team plus my Iron Tourney purchases. Good thing it was only Entry League and doesn't really matter.

I know I submitted a team the last two days and it has given me a blank slate. Something is not making sense here... and they are being submitted before the timeframe expires!

My apologies to those I doubted. It happened to me, too. A properly submitted roster disappeared over night.

DITTO....Definitely flawed at times. One time it took all my hitters, but reverted back to the same pitchers I started the day before. Lost out on 2 starts whether they were good or bad

Is there any way to better predict if a team actually will use the BP pitcher you choose?

Check out websites like Closer Monkey. They break down each team's bullpen hierarchy on a day-by-day basis, give updates on injuries and other closer news, and also have a "vulture save watch" to clue you in on which closers have pitched a lot the last few days. Very useful to know that Emmanuel Clase has pitched in two straight games if you're thinking of selecting him.

That could be useful, do you know what time its updated for the next round of games?

I just started doing PT Live. Is it normal to get this many zeroes or am I doing something wrong?

Not really. Far more unusual to get 76 points from Trent freaking Grisham in two days.

I would recommend using RPs that start whenever possible.
