Can a starter with 84 career wins make the Hall of Fame?

Looks like the fog of death has now moved to DC, Snakes-Gnats has been postponed for "air quality".

Yeah, speaking as a Canadian living near Toronto - it's pretty bad. I saw a stat that the amount of Canada that has already burnt down is larger than Belgium. (Luckily, a LOT of Belgiums could fit into Canada...) |

Is there an ETA on its reaching South Carolina? Perhaps I should take a few laps around the block while I still can…

Why is Colorado's O so bad? Usually that thin air inflates their batting stats. But they are in the middle of the league. Which probably means it is actually one of the worse.

Been watching quite a few Minor League games on MLBtv here and there. Love seeing all the different stadiums. Camera work isn't always the greatest, but the simplicity of the audio has me wishing a lot of big league teams would follow suit. It's just so much quieter. Greatest of all there's no guy/gal in the stands giving airbag reports full of useless noise. When I watch big league games I often watch the visiting team's broadcast hoping the wandering reporter doesn't travel. Another thing I think makes these broadcasts better is the lack of the ex player in the booth that has to justify his existence by never shutting up and over analyzing every single thing that happens. A lot of these Minor League broadcasts remind me of radio broadcasts from the 70/80's.

Impressive.
We give it to them when they screw it up. So we gotta give it up when they get it right.

Is Truist Park the new Coors Field? Or do the Braves just have an exceptional amount of power hitters? Seems like every day someone different is hitting one 450+ft.

The Braves have a really good offense. Also when it gets warmer and more humid in Atlanta the ball does travel.

When Mike Zunino got cut the other day I was like “hey, maybe the M’s can take a flier on an old prospect”. Then I looked at his stats. Dude has 60 Ks in 124 at-bats this season.

Ah, dilly-dally! That's not even the worst K% of his career!

Somehow, the Reds have won 8 in a row, are above .500 and contending in a weak NL Central. Not betting on a playoff appearance, yet, but its been fun.
A lot of youth coming through. It has been a fun week for me with youth driving the Reds and the USMNT beating Mexico and Canada handily, with an average age of 24 for players on the pitch! Bodes well for some sustained fun for the two teams I follow.
