No way to buy 23?
Going to assume you can't buy 23 anymore because of the *** license expiring? Super dissapointing as I cant afford the new game

No, they make the older version not purchaseable when the new version comes out every year. It'll probably go on sale some time around the All Star Break.

What is the reason for removing the older versions?
I'm in an online league and we don't upgrade versions until the All-Star sale, but we just had a new OOTP player join the league. They tried to buy OOTP23 so they can play with us until we upgrade to 24, but it's not available anywhere. And with most of us buying the game on Steam for the automatic updates (basically a necessity in online leagues) we don't have a license key to give them. |

I struggle to see how not selling older versions, especially the previous version in v23, makes sense.

You're right and I'm surprise... even on Steam the only version available is OOTP24. But the hockey simulation is available from version 3 to 9...

Come on folks.
We've always let people buy previous versions going years back through the whole history of OOTP. This is simply due to licensing and approval issues now. We cannot sell old versions any more, as much as we'd like to. It's out of our control.

This is what I thought... I'm sure I have seen the previous versions all available to buy at the same time on your website and I guess it was the same on Steam (I always get the current year release there), the license issue make sense since the previous versions of the hockey game are all available on Steam.
At least I have always access to OOTP15 to 24 on my Steam account...
