Mill City Spinners/ Lowell Spinners
Pretty happy with these. Art is from the Lowell National Park quarter, small logos are from the old Lowell Spinners (a team contracted by Manfred), and the ridiculous phrase on the third logo is from the motto on Lowell's seal

Thanks! You reminded me I forgot to do a non-city version, so the Spectacled Bears could be actually used |

Maine Matriarchs
Here's a couple more from the Rockwell Kent illustrations for Moby Dick. I'm using this team to replace Boston's AA team, the Portland Sea Dogs. I tried to come up with a name based on Widow's Walks or Boston Marriages, but I couldn't figure out a good one, so,
the Maine Matriarchs. Also including a blank logo so you can put this lady in whatever city |

Nantucket Captains / Nantucket Coffins
Here is Ahab standing ominously on his quarterdeck. Coffin is a ancestral last name on Nantucket, and there is a pretty significant coffin in the novel. It's also I thought kind of a metal name for whalers, since they'd expect not to be buried in a coffin (not to be buried at all). Coffins are aspirational in that context, maybe.
... and I also did Ahab so wrong with the alternate by putting a base next to him, I'm sorry: "Ahab leads off second, Fedallah off first, and here's the pitch to Tashtego… base hit down the left field line! Ahab's rounding third…" Last edited by 20_range; 03-16-2023 at 09:15 PM. |

Nashville Ironclads
I have again used a quarter for this Civil War themed team. Vicksburg or Memphis Ironclads would maybe make more sense, but Nashville is more of a major league location. It's not [squinting] that far from Fort Donelson, and had its own battle.
The small logo and baseball are from the Tennessee flag, but made into a baseball. Using the stars on the flag for a logo was ruwisc's idea. I used Kevin's logo for this team for a couple years, because it mostly lined up with the concept. There's also a turtle version, because the ships are after all called turtles. |

San Pedro de Macorís Profesores
This one comes from making a New Haven Academics team based on the Yale logo. I ended up looking at some fun old style university crests. The book here is from Oxford University's symbol.
San Pedro de Macoris has just as good claim as a holy city of baseball as Cooperstown or Brooklyn or any other city, I felt like they deserved a dignified logo from the middle ages. The area is full of baseball academies, so these are the professors. The green and gold are from the LIDOM team there, Estrellas Orientales The book is open to illustrations of [Saint] Pedro Martinez's pitch grips which I found accidentally looking for clip art. Lot of sweet graphics in here |

Arizona Serpientes
These are modifications of the Diamondbacks city connect logos and a Phoenix Coyotes logo (outline of the Arizona flag in the shape of Arizona). I like the name Serpientes better than Diamondbacks. No idea why someone made this logo without turning it upside down so it can also be an A.
I made versions in the original Diamondbacks colors too Last edited by 20_range; 03-27-2023 at 12:03 PM. |

Seriously, it was right there for them! Looks a lot better and makes more sense as an "A"

Cleveland Naps
Modern, minimalist attempt, if they had kept the name all these years and rebranded recently. The color is from the nice pastel sky on one of the 1900s cards I scanned (it was also similar to where I started from)
~*~*EDIT: I made like 30 more Cleveland logos*~*~ Last edited by 20_range; 04-18-2023 at 08:19 PM. |

Yonkers 6ths
Yonkers, one of the many sixth boroughs
![]() **edit: the small logo Y is there, it is just white against the white background. I just cut the N out of the regular NY hat logo This replaces either the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders or the Hudson Valley Renegades as a Yankees farm team. (surprising amount of red when you look at the Yankees logo) I tried to include the lyric "there's a world... inside of Yonkers" from Hello Dolly (admittedly, I know about this because of Wall-E), so that is included here, even though it is too small to see. I also replaced the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs with the Goldfinches, going to have to do something about the Syracuse Mets |

Lake Elsinore Danes
Thanks guys!
Here is a pretty simple replacement for the Lake Elsinore Storm. How can you have a team in a town called Lake Elsinore and not have a Hamlet themed name? (They did apparently have a monster mascot named Hamlet, but retired(?) it in 2001, replacing it with this standard Phanatic-style thing). The Lake Elisnore Storm: their uniforms and logos are some of the worst I've ever seen. Oh cursed spite lol, that ever I was born to set it right! If I was better at this I would replace the skull with a glove, Hamlet on the mound, but I don't think I can plausibly turn clip art into a painting yet without it looking it slopped it up Microsoft Paint style. The art is by William Nicholson (I googled Hamlet skull painting). Anyway I just felt the need to quickly replace the Lake Elsinore Storm ![]() ** update: I "drew" a "glove" Last edited by 20_range; 04-04-2023 at 11:39 PM. |

Habana Cafecitos improved
All the way back on the first page of this thread, I made a very silly attempt at a Bustelo themed logo. Well, now I have improved somewhat at the tools needed to make my suspect ideas reality - here is the early MLB Cuban pitcher Dolf Luque as the lady on the Bustelo can. Plus an alternate can logo. Both now with as close to the correct logo font as I could get, I made some of the letters.

I've never made a uniform for ootp and don't really know enough about uniform aesthetics to make them, but if someone wanted to make a logo for the Cafecitos based on this ridiculous item that I found, I'd definitely put it in the game

Using the software for uniforms is easy to do but difficult to master from my perspective. Hop in and play with it. I've just never made anything that looked better than the default uniform you can make in the game with HEX codes lol.
