Game suddenly closes

The game will load. If I choose saved game or perfect team it shuts down while cycling. No rhyme or reason. If there is anything else I can provide to assist please let me know.

For one thing, this is a very old public beta build that had some bugs in it and also will not connect to the live PT servers.

If you update to the current patch, does that fix things?

I'll give it a shot and let you know. It is showing I've got 42 in place but I'll completely uninstall and load again. I'll let you know - thank you

I looked again, and the first trace is from 36 but the last two are indeed from 42.

You might try the beta patch though, as that fixes some issues (though not necessarily what you're describing),

Same issue - attached log. Another thing I've noted - I started with 11 packs of cards - now I'm at 5 packs (with no members on roster). Every time I try logging in a lose a pack of cards for some reason.

Have you updated your video card drivers?

As we're looking at the trace files you've provided, we noticed that your video card is pretty old, and it's possible that might be causing some issues. At least if you can update the drivers to the latest version possible, that may help with this. It may not too, but it's definitely worth trying.

Been playing as GM/mgr for several versions.
Game randomly crashes. Something like" ootp24.exe has stopped working."
I played 3 consecutive games this afternoon. During the 3rd game it crashed.
Lost that game and the previous two.
Never had issues with previous versions.

Also, what's up with invisible players ? Happens EVERY game. Every position has become invisible at some point in time, including the batter.

Are you running our latest patch from this morning? We've been systematically going through the in-game and 3D crashes and getting them patched out for the past week. I'd love to know if you're on patch 42 or before since our last two patches I believe may have resolved those issues. Let me know and I'll pass any info on to the dev team.

Downloaded latest patch - same issue - loads graphics and menus - then when connecting to servers it crashes

Lukas - newest upload and having same issues. Start a game and try to use 3d shuts off - try to open pack of cards - shuts down. Did try to upgrade the video but it said it was the most current

This is terrible. Is there a way to play games and they not shut down at least? This sucks

If a video card is too old/not updated enough to run the minimum version of OpenGL, it possible that we won't be able to get the game running, as that's a necessary requirement.

We're hopefully not at that point here yet though, there are a few more things we can try first.

First off, can you go to settings (from the start screen) > 3 and facegen. You'll find there several different OpenGL settings. Please change to each of these and turn and then restart the game to see if it will allow you to play in 3d/open a pack. Let me know which settings work and which ones don't.

I used - Use OpenGL only for 3D and it worked for me.
