That's a real shame. Some of the missing leagues don't even know what licensing means.

The UI is of course very similar to last year's but it's also very clean. I think the font is... marginally? better and I like the way the tabs you've selected have borders around them now. Still setting up my views (wish those carried over from previous saves - maybe that's an add for the future).

I'm not seeing a rules button to turn the shift back on. Is that removed entirely? I'll be disappointed if it is; in my opinion that's one of baseball's stupider rule changes in a year of stupid rule changes.

Regarding Trade Deadline day -- in my test save I'm finding it very easy to skip the current negotiations period by mistake! In my opinion, the "Continue Trade Deadline Day" button under the MLB dropdown menu should NOT skip the current negotiations period, it should just take me to the trade deadline screen. I instinctually want it to take me to the screen and have the "skip negotiations" button be entirely separate.

Be careful about clicking this at the moment, it will skip the deadline period!

In regards to this, I believe that rather than being listed under rules, shifts are listed under the stats (?) tab.

Lawyers will 100% know, and that's all that matters. Get used to no other leagues ever shipping with the game again. It's not going to change.

Or just create fictional leagues.

The jersey font files have promise for uniforms, especially historical. But it may take work take downloadable font files and transferring them to graphic files the game can read.

there is a convoluted way to import your views but I don't have the instructions handy to cut/paste on here.

That font is the one that I've been using for years... good to see that people are realizing how much better it was than the default one from the last few versions.

Yeah...at this point it's pretty much an MLB game...unless you want to go in and spend hours and hours putting leagues together only to hope they will work well.

Copy your entire Tables folder over from the previous version.

Then on the previous version, open OOTP. On the opening game screen select "Settings".

Then click on the Troubleshooting Tab, then "Open folder containing file 'app.cfg' & 'engine.cfg'

When that folder opens, there will be a 'user.dat" file. Copy that over to the new install. Same process on the new install, have to go and open the cfg folder and put your user.dat file in there, replacing the current one. "make a copy of the tables folder and user.dat file before replacing them)
.

My custom player stat views and custom home page didn't copy over.

Just my custom team stats views and others like FA's and Draft.

Crisp and clean.

Faster load and shutdown than 23; more than twice as fast.

Off to a great start!
