Having done battle the most with Aomori, and they could easily have nicked a few more crowns, my vote goes to them.

In tonight's playoff action: Mount Hawke predictably lost in the DS. Columbia and Tintagel both lost their CS game sevens in Gold. Boo!

I'm guessing the big boys are off playing the beta of '24, so we're left with not enough of the sought after cards and a lot of shameless attempts at gauging.

I'm gonna drop PT as soon as OL is done for this year. My packs teams still have some good cards unlocked, which I'll sell when I'm ready to quit. So let me know if you still need anything in a week or so.

While I will continue to check-in on PT23 from time-to-time, I'm officially done with any OL updates to it. Thanks to all.

(I probably will be unable to resist the pull into PT24, but I haven't pre-ordered or decided whether I actually will)

My vote for OL team of the year would be Mount Hawke Tinners. I think the number of championships would be the number one reason but also the number of one-run games I lost to them!

I will play PT 23 for 2 more weeks but I do not know if I will be able to get Willie Mays by then (which is my only goal left). There is, as others have said, a frustrating lack of reasonable priced needed cards available. I will continue to plug away.

It's been a pleasure, Rev. You've done a cracking job, even reporting from the aftermath of a major storm - once the power was back on! I've had a blast with OL the last two years, and you've figured large in that.

I'm still ripping a few packs, diamonds with my packs teams. If you, Quinta, or anyone else want to list any cards you need, I can lookout for them. Obviously can't promise anything, but you never know.

I'm not gonna be back for '24. Whole host of reasons, but the main one is spending too much time on it . OL is a great format IMO, and it's kept me hooked on PT. Greenland haven't had a lot of luck, but I hope you've enjoyed it anyway.

I wanted to complete my missions triumphantly with Ty Cobb, but totally lost patience! I still have Mays platooned 'cause Speaker was my best player last week.

I'm really impressed by what you've accomplished via Go, what with it's late start an' all.

ditto that... v23 OL wouldn't have been nearly as successful and fun without the both of you pulling the big weight of results/graphics/etc.... anymore i probably only check in on Monday's to update the online sheet, and end of the week for the final results... just finished another Beer league season as well, so will probably take that to the end of its year and wait for v24 to transfer it over before continuing with the next season.

as for v24, I've already pre-ordered... as I've said many times before, this is probably the best ROI as far as money spent vs time spent playing the game... whether OL continues for a 6th season will depend on how much interest there is as well as if there are enough players who remain involved / helping with results / etc

The only thing that's really gone their way this year has been pulling Rickey Henderson TBH
I will say though, you guys are so good, that I don't know if I can build a team against you guys

Well, I'm gonna share some of my tips over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be interesting/useful, I don't want to come across as full of it . I'll do a breakdown of my iron tourney team as well.

That would be awesome! Definitely tuning in! I've made it to Perfect before (previous versions ), but it'll be really helpful to hear your strategies.

Also, you wouldn't happen to have anyone on this list from your packs?:
(I don't have cash on hand but am waiting for several items to sell, then should be able to afford things. Specifically waiting for Nap Lajoie and Mike Piazza to sell)

One of: Don Mattingly, Tony Perez or Jim Gentile (willing to pay up to 45k for any one of those, only need one card to finish that mission)

Then once I get and sell Johnny Bench:
Cleon Jones, Bobby Doerr/Mark Belanger/Tony Gonzalez + maybe a Gold tournament reward card depending on how many points I still need
(Once everything sells I should have a budget of about 140-150k for this mission)

Idk if you happen to have any of those cards just laying around, don't worry about it if not, but if you just happen to have them inactive or on reserve then I'll take 'em

I've got 3 of those. I won't say which for now because they're not spares, but if I haven't locked them by Sunday night, you're welcome to them. I have no unlocked tourney rewards left, though.
