Wierd question

Been playing OOTP for quite a long time now, but I have a question regarding live start. Due to OOTP moving forward and probably ending updates and such with OOTP23, if I were to start a new game using live start today, would all the transactions and such put players with the correct team? I mean Bogarts to SD, T. Turner to Philadelphia, etc.
I know I would probably have to do this manually, but just some fleeting hope it would be possible.
