If by 'they' you mean the moderators (because the developers aren't in here handing out warnings for stupid behavior or providing guidance of any sort for us), 'they' are more concerned with you inserting sex/porn terms in place of the company name for your last warning just as 'they' were more concerned with your aggressively rude and nasty demeanor toward your fellow board members on the earlier warning. You can continue to cast both warnings as 'them' wishing to hide something but 'they' are asking you to please grow up.

You aren't alone, just so 'they' are not singling you out, 'they' gave a warning to PSU that resulted from posting a xenophobic trope that he later referred to as a warning born out of this issue and 'they' gave a warning to pauwoo for aggressively insulting someone (and others I can't instantly recall). From this point on, if 'they' give you a warning for being a jackass and you come on here to suggest that 'they' are warning you to hide the fabulous truth that you are trying to expose or that 'they' are trying to suppress your truth-telling in some way, I will be here to let everyone know exactly what you were actually warned for. Sad day, i just really have an issue with them changing existing saves. I would be fine if they just made it not possible to create new games with the league. But the fact that they changed saves like that just feels real scummy imo.The way they did it, without any warning or pop up as well is wild to me. Don't think i've seen FM or the like ever do something like that. Imagine if they just removed the EPL from FM and moved the players to Argentina or something. The radio silence from them is worrying too.

I have a long running league with a bunch of players from there. Havent imported to 23, and from this i guess ill just stay in 22....

What did you genuinely expect him to write? That they DEMANDED they do it? That they THREATENED them they had to do it? You wanted him to write in the patch notes that they needed to do it or they'd be sued into oblivion?

They are business partners, and as a huge company clearly have a lot of say in matters, especially as it relates to legalities/potential lawsuits.

Can you not, logically and rationally, see why the language that was used, was used? And perhaps realize it doesn't tell the whole story and never will.

Acting as if it was simply a situation of ... "Hey, can you scramble all the Japanese data?" ... "Sounds good, I'm on it" .. because the word 'asked' was used and not based on any potentially severe consequences... is incredibly shortsighted.

This was a fairly drastic measure implemented that is unprecedented in OOTP's history, so I'm pretty confident in believing there was likely some pretty serious potential consequences if they didn't comply.

This change doesn't impact me in the least, as I play only fictional.

I do feel very badly for those who have had their data/games impacted by this, and it's a very unfortunate situation. I'd also estimate it's a very small percentage of the total userbase who will be impacted in any great capacity by this.

That doesn't mean the vocal minority shouldn't have a chance to vent their frustrations, but clearly I think it's fair to think that OOTPD acts in most cases in the manner that they feel is best for the company.

I'm sure it's no different in this instance, however that makes each of us feel as individual customers.

Tbh just sounds like you took something personally toward yourself that wasn't directed at you at all. 'they' was OOTP but yeah man since you immediately pulled my explanation of that, I want you to know I have never said or implied anything about the mods here and there is no reason to be believe I will going forward. So if you can keep your emotions in check , I'll keep from posting porn I guess.

I will add. I don't care about mod stuff on boards. This 'report me to whoever mods the mods blah blah', isn't a thing for me. Mods will do what they want and I will never have control of it. That's how these things work. Some mods overstep most don't. Some have a conflict of interest, most don't. I'd say you having to do anything to a post of mine could be considered that but I'm not gonna whine or cry about it, that's just how it all works. So the lil soapbox speech, I agree with, but also know that it does come off as a lil power trippy from an outside observation . FM has also had huge issues with Konami but are helped a little by the fact that their player base doesn’t retain saves year to year. That said, when they ran into Konami, they not only had to remove Japan and the Japanese national team from their game (it now exists purely as a non-playable and entirely fictional league for flavor purposes only), their scouting team, made up of mostly volunteers, had to purge Japanese players from their own personal databases; these players were being used for comparison purposes only.

In its own way I think that might be worse tbh…

I just got a little chesty with Kobeck and was yellow carded for it. To call it aggressive is, well, aggressive. Depending on your standards, of course. Like, if you were logged on from Victoria, BC and read what I posted, I can see you thinking, "this pauwoo guy isn't very nice, eh". But, as I already said, here in the rough & tumble suburbs of Seattle, WA - THE EMERALD CITY - calling out someone's peevishness by being peevish in return might as well be a hello.
