What happened?
Our old league file of over 45 seasons developed issues that even the devs couldn't solve so we are just going to start a new league entirely.

What cities have been claimed so far?
Boston, Cleveland, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City.

What cities are available?
Any continental US city with a 1950 population over 100,000.

How many slots are open?
Will depend on how many people answer this call before the league launches in a few days.

Is this league right for me?
We have a "no politics" rule for the server, however if you have far left political views this is not the league for you.

What if I miss the launch?
Don't worry, we have and independent league for reserve GMs if someone resigns or we expand.

What else should people know about your league?
We are on a four week schedule and we sim every day at 5-6am EST
We use reserve clause era financials, cash is used for stadium costs.

Is there an inaugural draft?
Yes there is. I am told that StatsPlus will support an inaugural draft which will likely start Monday, January 2nd, 2023.

Just a heads up - I thought I was all set to join. I gave my name, e-mail address and password then the commissioner asked me what my political views were before I was allowed to join. I said that I preferred to keep politics out of OOTP but they insisted that I would likely "feel like an outcast" if I had liberal views.

I thought I'd give people a heads up since it wasn't in any of the info about the league but it does appear to be a potential deal breaker for whether you'd be welcome in the league or not.

This is a fair criticism. I should have included something in the original post (which I now have) or at the least, discussed it with you before half-enrolling you into the game. My sincere apologies.

Apparently the reason this commissioner's last league folded is because he went on a rant about how women's rights ruined society and half the league left.
