Gold playoffs:

Did a recon of my wild-card opponent (Syrups were 2-5 against them in the regular season) and saw they performed rather poorly against lefties as well as at home; so bumped Vida Blue (my only lefty starter) up from the 5th starter position (and usually relegated to long relief for post season) to the second starter spot (he picked up 1 of the 2 wins in the regular season), and Derringer in the top spot (the other win). Paid off with a 2 game sweep into the LDS.

Gold league:

Waxhaw takes care of business to advance to the LCS and Diamond promotion. Waffletown falls short and will remain in Gold

Up 2 games to 1 in divisions series.. bottom 9, tying run on third, winning run on first, Shoeless Joe at the plate... Aaron picked off first to end game. Lose game next game (and series) 11-1...

Besides Auckland winning Bronze, Shinbone lost game 7 of the Diamond Series, Waxhaw lost game 7 of the Gold Series, and Bushwood lost in 5 in the Silver Series. Unlucky, guys.

2051 tier breakdown:

missed London at Stone (heck, missing season records at Stone so guess we're missing 3-4 teams a week to be honest

)... everyone else where they need to be

Stone= 3 teams
Iron= 8 teams
Bronze= 6 teams
Silver= 9 teams
Gold= 4 teams
Diamond= 6 teams

Gold league:

all four teams off on their own. A couple teams might get the 10 game min depending on interleague play.

Coney Island, which has been barley managed the past couple of months, a lot of that due to work obligations will officially be retired after Sunday. I am going to try to spend my points on either players or historical packs. I will leave the OL tag on but will no longer be checking in.

OL is great experience and while I haven't participated to the degree I have in the past the group makes PT enjoyable, otherwise I wouldn't play at all. My participation in the next version will be a wait and see. If there was a way to share commissioner duties so it doesn't fall on one person, maybe we can get a group together and start an online historical league, just a thought.

Honestly? I would be down for this. Would be my first OOTP online league since 6.5.

Judge Smales is in. Bushwood has never been in an online league but we can put our best man on it to figure it out.

Quinta celebrates their return with a good first half. Could be an exciting finish for the top four, but Aomori only play 2 more, and Waxhaw have had a brutal time so far.
