Thumbs up Aahh, the little things...

Interesting how some small enhancements can make a difference. Two that I especially like: The hitter lugging his bat back to the dugout after striking out; dropped pitches that don't advance the runner(s).

I am still waiting for the dropped third strike (actually, the pitch in the dirt that the slugger waves at) that does not result in a putout at first base. For me, it’s a brief moment of hope, followed by the throw that just beats the batter running to first. Yup, as IRL.

I have definitely seen it.

Just saw this yesterday... after swinging and missing on the third strike, the batter was safe at first.

I had a runner get tagged out at 3rd base with the hidden ball trick. Never seen that before!

I had my game mysteriously crash when a player I like suffered a career ending injury. It’s like it knew what I wanted, and all I had to do was pull up Task Manager

Just saw a rare double play... liner to first basemen... he doubled off the runner at third.

Still waiting to see the third baseman field a grounder and tag a runner out coming from second base... or just stepping on third base for the force out... or stepping on third base for the force out and then throwing to first to complete the double play.

Would like to see the second baseman field a grounder and tag the runner from first base... also tag the runner from first base and throw to first to complete the double play.

I saw a ball ricochet off the pitcher and to another infielder, who threw the batter out.

Yep, this is in the game.

This is what makes OOTP so special.

I recently watched a runner nearly collide with my 3B as he prepared to throw out the batter at first. In the animation, he literally could have reached out and tagged the runner- maybe still could have gotten the out at first. I thought they were going to collide. Of course I understand the animation is not in synch with the narrative. But still.

I still don't think runners being thrown out on a dropped pitch is in the game.

I have had several batters thrown out on a missed third strike, maybe because my team is slow as molasses, I mean slug slow.

This seems to be the result 100% of the time. I would like to see the ball ricochet off the pitcher and the batter be safe. (which is very common in real life) Followed by the trainer doing an injury check on the pitcher. (which is super common in real life)
