Slow loading and closing time ... ?

Has anyone else notice OOTP load and closing times have increased noticeably? What use to happen in maybe 10 seconds is now stretching to 30-40 seconds. I'm trying to figure out if its the game or my PC, but once I'm in the game, everything seems normal.

I did notice that it took longer to load up when I played last night, but everything else seemed normal.

I was going to ask if anyone else was noticing a slowdown in the game since the latest patch. I had a pretty severe lag in scrolling, mouse-clicking and anything navigating around the game menus.
I ended up saving, quitting and then launching the game, which helped.

Oh, almost forgot- at one point while playing a Tigers standard GM/Mgr game Sunday I went to advance the day with the pulldown menu and the game closed in a blink of an eye. Nothing lost, but that was weird. Believe I set saves to dynamic.

Mine opens the splash screen quickly like before but, the menu choices are taking awhile to populate the screen. 20 seconds or so?

I don't think the save time has been affected with my game.

Definitely noticed this as well. Game has run smooth though, so I just lived with it. It's not your PC.

Yep, I've noticed that too ... and I have not applied the latest patch, so that's not the reason why.

I wonder if they are now loading something up-front that was loading later when needed. It's not terrible, but it would be nice to know what changed.

Started noticing on mine as well. I’m not one.88 patch but am on .83

I did notice when not connected to the internet, it doesn’t seem to happen though
