After being promoted to Diamond after a nice season in Gold, the organization is not feeling great.

After reaching out for comments the only staff member to offer their thoughts was head groundskeeper Carl Spackler.

"Our only hope is to wear green so we can hide."

Beat writers do not sense optimism for the upcoming season.

yeah kinda the same here... even with a bye round, Waffletown flames out in their first round... was hoping North Bay would take out St Cloud, not only for the all-OL matchup, but the fact that the only team the Syrups couldn't seem to solve all season was St Cloud (6-13 regular season)

ah well... on the plus side, Waffletown won't get stomped in Diamond next season

First look has only Port Ruppert with as many as 10 games. Well, if Aomori will go swanning off to Perfect

heh heh. Maybe we'll catch a break later and get some additional fixtures, but I ain't holding my breath. It's pretty annoying that we didn't get more of an influx from Gold.

Meant to post this earlier. OOTP did its usual bang up job, sticking Columbia off on its own. They will barely qualify, getting 10 games. That's actually down from the 13 they had when I checked a couple of hours ago (and forgot to clip the standings page). Ah well, at this point I don't expect much from the game developers, and they certainly deliver in that regard. I'll try to post the standings if no one else does. Good luck to all.

Thanks. I could use a break from the game this week. My interest is at a low point. I think perhaps this weekend or next I may look over my rosters and see if I find interesting threads that would lend themselves to retooling and rekindling some spark. Of course, given the state of the game, I suppose if do too much I'll run afoul of the anti-tanking police.
