If that was a beta it was their second beta. They had a private beta in December before the launch.

And can you confirm how the new app will be released (first to a specific country like last year?)

I have no problem waiting. The thing I am interested in is if there are feature changes. I have slowed my playing of Go to a near stop because if the new version has some added features I would I will start over. If there are no additional features, or updates that will enhance my personal game play experience I am going to stick with the current version and continue the game I started since I am five years in.

That funny because I have done the exact same thing. I probably played 10-15 games of a season each week until a few weeks back, and have done about 10 games in the last month just waiting to see if I in fact want to start a new game. It would be ideal to be able to pull 2021 games into the new app, but we’ll see.

Good question. Not sure if it is just pointing to PT23 or will there be updates? Hopefully commissioner mode added?

Already asked and saves will not carry over. Also the 2021 roster purchase doesn't. No word on historical seasons purchase. They were trying for that but weren’t guaranteeing it.

I would have commish mode at the top of the list followed by something simple (I assume) being able to assign current ballparks to historical teams. I play all games out and I am tried of looking at the same stadium for every game.

I don't think it's fair to think it will equal the desktop version so I settled on these two (I have more) and honestly if I just get one of them I will switch over.

Yeah besides any OS restrictions limitibg features the RAM issue would keep full version on mobile being a thing.

Only way it would happen anytime soon is through cloud gaming and unless it was an optional thing I don't want it

Hey everyone, lots of questions it appears so let me touch on a few things.
In terms of new features (while still in beta and not finalized of course), it's probably safe to expect many of the new OOTP 23 features including things like tutorials, the new shop feature, ties, ratings, etc. We also added a few items like cash and salary retention in trades. Keep in mind most things are fluid (again beta and whatnot).

Minimum requirements are the same as last year (2GB min). We also still have the memory warning but that can be disabled in settings like last year.

In terms of a country specific release this year I'll have to check with the team first

Just a couple of quick questions regarding features, are you looking at bringing coaches into the mobile version? Or will this remain specific to the desktop version?

Also, league expansion? Whether it be randomly at the end of the season or by us being able to manually do it with expansion drafts when we choose to?

I would love both to be added into GO 23.

Currently only historical has full expansion for the years teams were added in real life.

Would you consider a credit to allow historical seasons bundles in OOTP GO 23 at no additional cost if the move of bundles purchased for OOTP GO 22 doesn’t happen?

This would be the best way to keep the fan base appeased since the only reason I bought the seasons on OOTP Go was because it implied that was going to be the be all end all for it. I will not be purchasing more mobile versions after having gotten screwed over by the old version of the mobile game and then waiting all that time to get OOTP Go and buying it AGAIN.

This goes directly to the related point of played seasons not being able to carry over to the new version. I'm not going to pay to buy historical teams only to lose everything I've built the following year, plus the insult of having to buy things again. No, thank you.

I can understand the anger disappointment about what happened.

I figured there would be a point that a new app was nessecary but not for 5+ years.

On the not carrying over saves I wasn't too surprised seeing outside of these games and a couple of the Show games we never got carry over saves in sports games. Also that OS restrictions may have prevented it.

Now another issue with the purchasing is that unlike the PC game there never was a discount available.

Basically it's a warning message that pops up to let you know if your device is running low on RAM and is at risk of crashing.

You can turn it off in the settings menu.

I wouldn't mind the "not carrying over" bit if they were going to do bug releases of the current version, but they're not. So it's either keep the current version and continue playing the league/team you've spent time developing, or lose it by going to the new version...which may or may not have the same bugs anyway...
