We are 2 months into the season and the Sabres aren't performing as good as expected of them. We had a few minor injuries and a few suspensions but we seem to be turning a corner....

David Pastrnak won player of the month November
Kiril Karzipov is riding a 24 game point streak, longest so far in the save...

We are at the end of January and the Sabres can't gain any momentum as they are getting various injuries throughout their lineup... We are in a playoff spot but a long way from the top of the league. Tuuka Rask isn't producing at a level expected from him, so we might try to upgrade him, but we are very close against the cap....

The Sabres can never get going this year as injuries kept the line up shuffling all year long... We did make the playoffs finishing 3rd in the Eastern conference.

We lost Mathew Barzal in January for 4 months which means he'll play no part in our play offs run...

That's the second season in a row that we are losing a superstar player for the playoffs...

The Sabres made it to the next round! after falling into a 2-0 hole, the team was boosted by the return of David Pastrnak who missed the first 2 games.

We are onto the NY Islanders who upset the Presidents trophy winner Boston Bruins.

We are onto the Eastern Conference finals! The NY Islanders provided to be even more ravaged by injuries than us and got swept 4-0...

Kiril Karzipov is suspended for the first game of the series, where the opponent is the New Jersey Devils...

The Sabres built on last year, but their journey ended in the Conference finals where they lost 4-1 to the eventual Stanley cup champions New Jersey Devils...

Every game of the Conference finals was decided by one goal and another injury in the ranks of the Sabres would come costly when checking line centre Nick Dowd went down. With Barzal already lost earlier in the season, this proved too much of an obstacle to overcome.
