I'm sure I'm being an idiot... logo question

Okay, I apologize because I'm sure this is going to be easy for someone to answer. I've got a custom OOTP23 league going that is basically historical - I just don't like the way OOTP does early baseball so I always make custom leagues.

I'm trying to import the logos for, e.g., the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals, but I'd like them to be the 1901 logos and not the present-day ones, which it seems to want to default to. I go into the logo folder to change them and... nothing. I can see that there are files there in File Manager - all these logos with an .oi file name, but the game won't let me select them in-game when I try customizing the team.

Ugh, I wish this stuff were a little easier, or at least easier to explain. Anyway, does this make sense to anyone, and can you tell me what obviously simple thing I'm doing wrong to not be able to import these 1901 logos into my "custom" game?

My suggestion would be to take the logos you want to use from OOTP's main logo folder, change the file type from '.oi' to '.png' by double clicking on the logo (such as what I did with the attached), then save them directly into your custom leagues' logo folder. That's where OOTP looks first anyway when generating logos. Once it sees a matching logo there, it won't have to go back to the main logo folder. Delete the unwanted logos in your custom league's team logo folder first, then add the logos you want. OOTP will generate the different sizes of the logos automatically the next time you fire up the game.

Hope that helps.

Have you tried turning your logos off and then back on?

You need to change the database path file, and then reset all team logos.

1. Go to the database tab in game settings, and edit the custom logos file path.

2. You can then load your logos in the game settings > player & facegen section.
