Had a great idea but this way makes more money, like if MLB THE SHOW just had one game per console and then updated the rosters every year for free.

Every one of the card game modes in a sports game have made you restart your progres each year.

That’s the point man… they were going to make it better and keep it in one app, but now they’ve flip-flopped, despite the “change in back-end providers” which should NOT affect the vision of OOTP GO.

The plan is to do everything we can to be able to transfer purchases and save game files. But there are always certain technical limitations that may not make it possible or easy to do, so unfortunately we cannot necessarily promise that right now.

If I have to purchase around $30 of seasons for OOTP Go 23 every year...count me out. I already purchase the OOTP ++ laptop version yearly but sure wont do it for the GO 23 version. Something I for forseen in a comment last year.

What would be the OOTP dev teams advice on Go Perfect Team? Spend all your PP now because they’re going away along with all the cards you’ve acquired? Or status quo, we don’t know yet, but we’ll try to carry over PT cards to GO! 23 and beyond.

I can’t get a read on what I should be doing now other then just new game coming out

Based on how PT works already each PT version is self contained. So PT 22 points and cards won't carry over to PT 23. And this would happen even if they weren't doing GO 23.

Same way UT and 2K's card games work.

Personally I’ll easily pay 30 dollars to get a mobile app well worth it each year.

Everybody has the right to do what they want with their disposable income. The previous mobile versions (iOOTP and MLB Manager) had me in mindset that each year I would start over with the new version and buy the historical bundle. I never minded doing it because the price vs. the hours I played made it a no brainer for me.

With Go I was hoping I could do a long term project so the way I am playing changed. I would think the devs were up front with the description how the original Go was going to roll out. One app that would be updated. I assume the PT problem has caused issues and they need to rework the app (and the desktop version of PT). All things being equal I am sure they would rather be sitting back with a beverage of their choice instead of problem solving.

With that said I will see what Go 23 has in franchise mode. If there are additional features added I will likely download it and re-purchase the historical bundle because of the enjoyment I get out of it whether I can move my save or not. It was in our best interest they didn't give us overly an optimistic view on the transfer of our previous season(s) purchases or their ability to allow us to move saves.

Would you consider a credit to allow historical seasons bundles in OOTP GO 23 at no additional cost if the move of bundles purchased for OOTP GO 22 doesn’t happen?
