I use to get the main game through the App Store but now just get it direct or through steam. Apple can be a few days getting it approved but a week is a long time. Maybe it is taking longer because of some recent patches but that is just a guess.

While it may change I don't believe OOTP 23 is going to the apple store. It may change in the future but right now I don't believe it was planned.

I don't believe this to be true because I posted this question last week and one of the devs stated that it would be available but that Apple takes a long time vetting the game before its available to the public.

For me, the benefit of the App Store is the ability to download a purchased app again, instantaneously, without explanations, emails, purchase order numbers, etc.

I said I don’t believe because I don’t remember hearing anything about the apple store. I never said it was for sure. Offering an opinion based off personal observation from the forums.
