I can do you one better and just post what I was working with in PSD form so the layers remain.

Ever since beta came out, I've been following the discussion on the new uniform format changes. It's too bad that this change affected a ton of existing mods accumulated over the years. However, I believe this is a necessary evil that is actually better for the long term: much more suited for the 3D engine and the type of graphical improvement OOTP is trying to achieve.

So I want to say thank you all for the effort here and put together new templates. It will have lasting impact for modders going forward! Once we are past the short-term pains, we will see how much more fun and how much more we can do with the new styles. (I've seen similar 3D mesh/texture in other games, when those other companies used to make PC sports games......)

Again, I can't stress enough that the old templates look just fine from a distance in the 3D game and they look just the same in the player profile pics, so I think we have time to convert what we feel needs to be converted and prioritize the ones that need to be prioritized while not being deprived of all of the great work from years past.

Absolutely Silva. This year seems like a transition year and we have enough time to prioritize some uniforms. I do sense developers have more in store for us in the future and this is just to set the foundation. Player names, numbers and other 3D features will work better in this format than the old one. I haven't done any OOTP uniforms (been busy with stadiums and FHM stuff so far), but if one day I start to work on uniforms, for sure the new template is going to be crucial. My tendency is to find those obscure teams around the world and give them some love, LOL.

You guys are great and I look forward to see the finished product

I have made the 1983 White Sox’s home uniforms (current White Sox alternates). In the process, I learned about how the uniform works and such. I’ve made a color coded uniform texture that you can load in game and see what region affects what. Very useful for me, at least before we have a concrete template.

Are there any plans to make a new uniform software program? If no one is working on it, does anyone know how the old one was made (E.G. programming language, necessary libraries, etc.). If no one is going to make it, I can try my hand at it. Or if anyone has the source code to justafan’s software, that would be great.

Anyways, I love the work that you guys have been doing. If you need anything, I’m here. Photoshop is busted for me, so I’m stuck to GIMP if that affects anything.
