It is what it is and I can understand both sides of the "discussion" but the point of a pre-order is to guarantee revenue. They offer 10% off and early access to entice people to pre-order. If they can't come through with the 3-day early access less people will pre-order for 24. If less people pre-order, more will be likely to wait until the price drops (It went down to $20 just on June 24th last year for 22, and June 25th before for 20 AND 21) as they won't have as much FOMO. This just leads to a price increase at launch for 25, and so on and so forth.

So, no, what those who pre-ordered paid for was for it to be released today - not Friday. I can empathize with some who are starting to get a little antsy and upset about the possibility of that not happening as quickly as they had hoped.

Before the OOTP Defenders come at me with pitchforks and torches (Torches! At 4 in the afternoon!) I, again, am on the "it is what it is" side of things, but I won't dismiss those who feel otherwise. That isn't right, either.

They look good imo! There are a few things that still need tweaking, like always (it never ends).

For instance, I think we're running a bit hot on HR's and batter K's for the top guys. But we'll take a closer look and make some more adjustments over the next few days.

And as always, we'll keep updating stuff constantly throughout the year.

On Tuesday, around noon US (ET) time, those who pre-ordered the Fastspring webstore version will receive an email containing download links once the public OOTP 23 beta is available, and we will also post the download links on the forums, so you can still pre-order and access the beta after April 19.

I cannot blame them for asking basically why the delay .... when my customers ask me when i be there i give rough ETA and if i will have a long delay i call them and let them know the new ETA this way they do not get upset and understand the reasoning of delay.
