I Can't Take This Any Longer

If you'll indulge me, I had to get this off of my chest.

I play a fictional universe each year. I have a forty team league, four divisions in each league with five teams in each division. I take the standard MLB setup and import ten historical teams to fill things out, edit the league structure accordingly and do a fantasy draft. The additional ten teams are named after both historical teams and fictional.

I just put the finishing touches on my text file that contains all of the historical players I am going to import into my new OOTP23 universe to go along with the players from the historical teams. The jerseys are made and named as are the caps and logos, all saved in their folders ready to be copied and pasted into a new 23 directory. The minor leagues are all planned out and jotted down on my notepad.

I want to play a new universe already! I can't take this any longer. It's Saturday morning as I type this and I'm NOT playing OOTP. Next weekend can't get here fast enough. This is killing me!

I know and I have preordered. But I don't start my new league until the public version is released with all of the issues found the pre-order hammered out and that won't be until Friday.

As Tom Petty put it, the waiting is the hardest part.

In a way I'm kind of lucky. I'm going to have to binge play a bit to get done with my current season before I get my Steam copy on Friday. I don't think the weather is going to be conducive to getting out on the golf course. That should mean it will time out just about right.

I’m nowhere near the end of the season so for me it’s either wait like 2 months to open the box (haha no) or convert mid season and see what happens. Wouldn’t be the first time I ruined a save I enjoy!
