"Our League" Season 4--Who Wants To Play Our Way?

A big Thank You to all of you OL members who helped make a difference in making OL as much fun and enjoyable as it was.


Many of you went out of your way, going the extra mile, week in and week out, pouring in alot of extra time and effort, and it showed.


Creating awards, updating spreadsheets, taking screen shots and posting the standings several times a week, while providing commentary, it all made a difference!


Playing in OL sure made me look forward to Monday mornings, as I couldn't wait to see which other OL teams were in my division and league for the up and coming week.


I think it is safe to say there is only one way to play Perfect Team and that is the "Our League" way!

Wow. That guy just flat out folded up and Arkham went on a BLAZING hot streak. From 10 games down, I am now at 1/2 game ahead and tied for the best record in the league while commanding a .625 winning percentage. Just goes to show that OUR WAY is often the BEST way.

Please refresh my memory. Team names need to have " -OL " added to them and the abbreviation needs to end in " + ". So, it would look like this:

ARK+

Syrups DeGrom has a career year. nabbing the triple crown (24-6, 2.02 ERA, 278 K) as he squeaks by teammate Maddux in wins (23), helping lead Waffletown to tie their best record ever (121-41), and hopes for his 4th PoY award.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but in case anyone interested....


Anyone in, or going to be in, Gold or Dia, who wants to try something different and really fun??? Starting a "low gold league" in diamond and trying to expand to gold as well.....basically card cap PT league, only 84 ovr and lower cards allowed. Anyone who knows about SLOTS from 21, it's mostly the same guys running and playing, but they think new format will be even better. So fun....DO IT!!!

all good.... I think a good number have checked out for v22 and have left teams on autopilot, so might not get many joining new groups at this point...


Silver league:

Waffletown - Brooklyn in the Silver league World Series (2-2 in the regular season, so hopefully it's a hard fought 7 game run)

We're 2 teams short. Had probably 6-8 at least that either went PeL or didn't make it up to Diamond. I didn't look super close at the date on y'all's first post, but seems like you been doing this pretty much through the game cycle.....super cool

In training with OOTP GO until the new version drops. I think I'm using up all my good luck, though. I just blazed a 13-game winning streak, lost 1 game, and then won another 9 in a row.

And my team is mostly people I've never heard of except for Max Carey and Buck O'neil. Go figure...

It was Seattle's 2nd week without a friends list and they got paired with OL, heh. Another battle with Brooklyn! Paxville missed the playoffs in Perfect by losing game 163.

So, that's it for this cycle. No doubt there have been a bunch of advances this year, and OL has been very cool, but I've been massively disappointed with my packs this time around, which is a bit of a big deal. It'll be interesting to see if the reveal will tempt me into having another pop...

slowly getting there.... everything is out of storage and in the house in some form..... found the fridge we had ordered (then was delayed for 6 weeks) at another local store, so bought it there and had it delivered yesterday (so huzzah for a real fridge )... still have random furniture purchases to get delivered between now and august but other than that, it's just a matter of organizing the chaos a bit...

I got my son-in-law once removed (my daughter-in-law's brother) playing OOTPGO and he's having a good time. I believe he plans to buy the full version when it drops and is interested in becoming ... one of us.

Quick question:

I enjoy Collection Missions, but they lock the cards in so you can't sell them. If I need live cards to complete a mission, is that kosher as long as they are deactivated in my collection?

They just have to stay off your active roster to be OL-compliant.
