Those are my best guesses based off previous years. Non of those are wants for me but oh well.
Yes, I think this is the most accurate 'realistically probable' list to date.
The CBA updates would be a 'want' for me, since I generally play standard/new games and would like to see those be as real life-like as possible - if the two sides ever come to agreement.
Even though I play my games out, I'm okay with the animation and I thought the stadium updates in 22 were great.
What I'd really like to see - I know, not the topic - is improvements, clean ups and adjustments to the AI and basic functions of the GM/management aspect of the game. But I won't elaborate further out of respect for the thread's actual topic - speculation on what we WILL see.
Which I think you've nailed.

I gave up hope a few years ago for sortable team stats etc.......my guess is :
more KOREAN functionality...
more mobile features...
enhanced animation

I think we could see some new roster rules because of KBO, *** and now complex leagues.

I think they may allow for x amount of players on a roster, with xx being active. They may also allow for organizational limits the may it is currently. 180 players total

If you are correct, I’d be extremely disappointed.

Yup! Were finally going to get the H2H feature that was marketed for back in OOTP6!

Every year I dream the new iteration of the game will include integration with Baseball America, Fangraphs, D1Baseball, or some other third-party site that does great analysis. Unfortunately, my hopes are shattered every March

THIS would be awesome !
At one time 6 of us had a league in Madden (PC). We drew names for teams and had a draft. What a blast. We found the .fra file and sent the league to each other so we could play games. IF it was a head to head game the home team would host the visitor at his home.
It would be nice if there was a feature to play against someone live. However their would need to be a way to make things fair. Example...Orioles vs Yanks.
A nice option would be having each player use the same team in a fictional stadium.
One can hope !

This does sound cool… what would that look like? FWIW they do use ZIPS to create current year leagues and I believe also to assign potentials to current players.

I've thought about this a little bit and think it depends on the partner. With Baseball America, I think the game could gain added depth at the amateur levels for scouting, development, and potentially playing. This depth could be stories from BA writers, rankings released throughout the season and off-season, etc. I think even adding new information to amateur players like Rapsodo scores, PG rankings, etc. would be fun to dig into as a GM. Also, different orgs releasing the same type of rankings, like minor league systems, would be fun to compare and contrast as you try to build your organization.

I think scouting, player development, and the amateur levels are lacking in OOTP and it's the part of baseball I love most.

Another thing I'd like to see is the ability to build-up our front office staff, specifically in the operations and player development departments. Let me put together an analytics department that can generate new insights and integrate with the scouts knowledge. Hire a biomechanists (that a word? lol) to give me insights to a players arm slot, shoulders while swinging, etc. and allow them to make changes and/or recommendations. What about a marketing department? Ticket sales slumping and the team is mediocre, let me have giveaway nights and run ad campaigns. The possibilities are endless!

I realize all the things I listed above would require an overhaul to the game's finances, but a man can dream can't he?

I think the lack of hype is somewhat due to the labor strike. Right now there are so many unknowns for the 2022 season.

Indeed it is.
And I wish fans would boycott games for twice as long as the players are locked out of regular season action.
I live in Buffalo so no MLB team here. My wife is a Mets fan and we've made the ride to Flushing on several occasions and had a great time. Except for the 2019 Subway Series. Seemed like the Mets sold WAY to many general admission tickets. The concourse was jammed beyond belief.
We did find a nice hotel that shuttles you to the closest subway station which is located in front of their stadium.
We found the bus route to get us back to the hotel that works for us.
