Injuries
I'm not proud of it, but I didn't really have a choice - I had to edit out three injuries to defensemen just to keep from having to suit up three forwards on the blue line. I had four players get injured in one game - three of them defensemen - which gave me seven injured players in total. Five of those were blueliners.
The injuries at "normal" are relentless. I think I'm going to have to set them to "very few" just to enjoy the game. |

If you're having that many issues it may just be bad luck, it has to do with your coaching, ice times, tactics and players injury proneness.
Having a rash of injuries isn't uncommon though. It happens. Even today in the real NHL, the Canucks are down to their 5th goalie - so imagine that fun.

My reaction was more towards seemingly being at the top of the league in injury days (currently 3rd in my historical save, and would have been 2nd if not for my editing) year after year. It's to the point where if I see a news item notification immediately after a game, I expect the worst. |
