Annandale got the results to sneak ahead in OL. Sure looks like a 2 horse race.
Everyone else are just battling for survival, and it's looking a bit bleak! |

Rumor has it that the Mad Brewers will be releasing a new beer flavor soon.... it will have subtle notes of waffles-n-syrup..... it will be called: Domination
(Mad Brewers are 9-1 against Waffletown this year. I expect that to be 18-1, or at least 17-2 by the end of the season )

I am on a 6am flight Sunday morning so I will not be able to handle the bronze final. Hopefully someone can grab it. You cant get team vs team on Go.
As for my poor Warriors, in the years playing PT I have had my share of bad seasons but I don’t remember ever being on pace to win only 50 games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

In Gold 327 the OL teams are doing just OK Silly Mad and Port Ruppert currently in playoff positions. A few teams (including the Syrups) still hoping for a WC spot. |

South Holland still on top, but Keystone keeping pace. Nine OL teams within 3.5 games of a playoff spot, but four teams currently in relegation. Such are the hazards/opportunities with so many OL teams in the same league.

Yes, this is a non-OL game, but still. The Sim God was in a foul mood, I guess. Or decided it had made Idaho suffer enough. Whatever.

Despite Cary's strong position in their division, Annandale are now 9-3 against them. Impressive, and they're in a smashing position in OL, but the two will play another 7 times yet. Can Cary turn it around? Or will Nowhere come from... nowhere?
Happy my two have added to the numbers, but it looks fairly certain that they'll be shuffling off back to Gold next week, along with the wounded Warriors. |

Silly Mad had no OL games in August and solidified their lead. Port Ruppert still has a decent chance but needs to win a lot as they have more OL games.

Lightly-scheduled South Holland stays in front, but Inland Empire makes a big move into second, while Keystone drops from contention.
[NOTE: I cannot do the report tomorrow. Sunday's might be a little later in the morning.] |

Propelled by their 14-3 record against Knockemstiff and Seattle (
), Nowhere are right there. They may even be favorites now, but who knows what the RNG will throw up next?!

Gold 347
So Port Ruppert is making a nice stretch run and has moved into first place. Silly Mad has been doing well but not enough to hold off the Mundys. Port Ruppert has 3 games left against the last place Crakes while the Brewers have 6 games against the resurgent Waffletown Syrups. If the Mundys sweep the crakes the Brewers will need to sweep as well to get the OL crown so the Mundys are looking good right now.
Not all the excitement in Gold 347 is in OL action. 4 OL teams are in playoff contention. Port Ruppert looks like a solid WC team. Lemp Ave, Waffletown, and Silly Mad are in a close battle for playoff spots in the AC. Waffletown and Silly Mad will not only battle to determine the OL crown they are in a tight divisional battle. The loser of the divisional battle is also in a tight WC battle with Lemp Ave for a WC spot. Good luck to all. |

Bronze
Not to sound like a broken record but I will not be able to post the final Bronze tomorrow. I will not be logging in to PT on a computer at all tomorrow.
Cleveland is the leader. They have seven games remaining all vs. Las Vegas. Asheboro has five remaining, 3 at Daytona Beach two at home vs. Sugar Hill. Sugar Hill is likely not mathematically eliminated but with them only having 5 games the two teams above them would have to have nothing short of an epic collapse. On the PT side of things in the AC Route 66 is leading their division while Sugar Hill is locked in a 5 team race for one of the two wild cards. Otsego is only 4.5 back so if they got hot they can certainly be in the mix as well. In the NC Asheboro and Cleveland both lead their divisions while Las Vegas and Boston currently hold WC spots but they arent without challengers nipping at their heals. Meanwhile Daytona Beach is in danger of relegation but with a good September they can keep their heads above water. Hoping we can represent with 7 teams in the playoffs come tomorrow. |

Silver - the late Saturday edition
[Note: I will not be able to post Sunday until at least 5pm (GMT)]
Much like the Atlanta Braves can't help that they are in the weakest division in baseball - they still get to go to the playoffs, the South Holland El Caminos have taken advantage of their VERY light OL schedule to snag the top spot in OL S332. The big mover of the day was Shinbone, now in 2nd. Only 9 or 10 games remain in the regular season. |

Diamond League
Congratulations to the Nowhere Men!
Cary took the last 7 against Annandale 5-2, which left the door firmly open for the Men to stroll right through to the crown. Cary had a great season, but are rewarded with a brutally tough route to the Diamond Series. Good luck!! Brooklyn suffered the final indignity of a 4-game losing streak to be pipped for the last safe spot. They join the other hapless victims of a tough league. |

Silly kept a little bit of the good stuff around to hold off Waffletown for the playoff berth (I don't know about the OL results).
Hopefully the late addition of Maddox and Brown to the starting rotation will lead to promotion back to the meat grinder Diamond leagues.

The Gold 347 was also close. The Brewers won their division and the Mundys are in the WC game. The Syrups and Lemp Ave Perfectos had a close battle for the final WC. The Perfectos, true to their name for nearly two weeks, went on an 11 game win streak in late September and held on as the Syrups continued their woes against the Brewers in their final series. The Sonora HS Broncs went on a late 8 game winning streak (but lost their final game to the other WC challenger) to nearly get the last WC. |

the fact Waffletown only finished 6 games back of the division and 2 games off the WC after going 4-15 against the Mad Brewers is a little victory
good luck in the post season for those who made it (hope some of you move up a tier )

There is no justice. Contenders two weeks ago, relegated this week. I truly hate how nothing ever goes my way.

Bronze from 34,000 feet. Sort of figured out theOL crown below. We have five teams in the playoffs. Asheboro, Cleveland and Route 66 won their divisions and Las Vegas and Boston will face off in the AC wildcard game. Otsego Lake was on fire in the final month and fell one game short in the NC WC while Sugar Hill was in the mix heading into the final month, faded and finished 4 games out. Daytona Beach will be relegated.
Best I can do for OL is Cleveland went 4-3 in their final 7 and Asheboro went 4-1 in their 5 games. I would guess that would give the crown to Asheboro but you would have to check against my post from yesterday. Not going to do it for the rest as its a pain to scan schedules on Go on the iPhone and there is no team v team. I was going to use this flight to flip Sugar Hills roster and retire the current but I am a player short so the current team will run for one more week Good luck to the playoff teams Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
