Download link still won't open....hmmmm

EDIT: It went straight to my desktop.....but wasn't showing up.....now I have 10 copies :-)......download appears to work fine.....now we'll check the players on the field once I open the game

Well....the fix hasn't worked when I checked while replaying the last game I played...same issues of the cap/helmet and some stadium graphics being cut off......

I'll advise if it is OK when I play the next game on my schedule later today. Fingers crossed.

UPDATE: My next game on the schedule has the same issues.....so the fix has not worked for me....we'll see what others say.

If you check the version number on the start screen, does it say 22.8.70?

I’m using the public beta on Steam and the issue is fixed for me. Thank you for the fix!

Ooooo......No.....22.8.68......

UPDATE: just re-downloaded again and your link is actually 22.8.68....so I just went and updated to 22.8.69 again....will await link for 22.8.70

Good news....link was v.70 and the all looks back to normal in game....thanks again for your attention to this !!

Hi guys,

I'm trying to opt-in for the BETA version on Steam, but when I go to the drop down menu on Steam under "Betas" for the game, the only option is "NONE."

Am I missing something?

You need to activate the public beta option first by doing the following:

Quit OOTP 22 if it's running.
Open Steam client -> Library
Right click on Out of the Park Baseball 22
Click on "Properties" at the bottom of the menu
Click on the beta tab. Here, enter the following code / password: publicbeta22
Click on "Check code"
Open the beta pull-down and select "publicbeta".
Close the Steam client (Steam menu -> Exit)
Open the client again. It should then download the beta build.

Thanks for the instructions on how to reach the BETA version on Steam!

Unfortunately, even after upgrading to version 70, the problem still persists for me.

I finally figured out how to upload a screenshot of what the players look like...

You're on Linux iirc, right?

It's possible the issue here is that the fix only works on Mac (the problem we found was that Apple changed how certain video card drivers load the shaders and we had to make a change in the code to keep the drivers from automatically selecting a bad option), so we might need to revisit this for Linux.

But first we need to make sure you are definitely on v70 if it's still not working.

Hmm, that looks like you do have the right version. I'll have to have Jorin look into this further, we may need to make another tweak here for Linux.
