Live Start doesnt update draft picks ?

I did so myself today and found the rosters a mess. I'm playing as the White Sox and Cesar Hernandez who we just traded for is on the Cubs roster. The Sox have new players who aren't real or are with other organizations sprinkled throughout their system. The bullpen isn't close to being right, for example Kopech and Crochet are in the minors. They have been important pieces in the bullpen since opening day.

Was about to say the same thing. Also Madrigal's hamstring randomly healed for the cubs.

Also can they update Kopech's personality? He always has clubhouse cancer when in reality he is loved in the locker room.

This (at least) is purely on the AI if the players are indeed in the right organization- the roster guys can only set the ratings but the AI will interpret those ratings as it sees fit for each particular organization.

Does anyone else have people on their roster who are retired?(and they aren't even actually retired in real life, but for some reason in the game they are and the save just started)

Yeah, exactly. This just depends on the ratings and the AI, it's not something we can control except by adjusting the initial ratings (but even then those are changed automatically based on performance in the Live start).

As far as the title of the thread goes, the default Live start does not yet update draft picks, but if you download and install the file in the thread here, then it will do so.

I get it. I was wondering since when you start a new game some guys are in different spots in your organization. The AI interprets things as it sees fit. That's cool, I just rearrange my roster.

Go as commissioner in edit mode and manually change his personality traits. Wait until you see Oscar Colas, he's a caveman. I think one of the programmers is a die hard Cubs fan.

I just downloaded and installed the draft picks file and started a new live start game and everything looks in order. Saweet.
