Coney Island ripped through September like a cyclone, winning 12 of 15 games, including a three-game sweep of Port Ruppert, to knock the Mundys off their season-long perch and win the Our League crown by the slimmest of margins. Warrior play-by-play voice Art Rust IV called the triumph, "The second miracle at Coogan's Bluff."

Silver League:

Crazily tight final standings! Baltimore and Keystone split their 6 games 3-3, but the Kops outscored the Barons by 25 runs to 22, so I assume that is the deciding factor?

In which case, congratulations to the Keystone Kops!

With the best record in the league, Keystone are guaranteed promotion to Gold. I think Knockemstiff are too. Kaipo will be promoted if they beat the Shiners in the DS, and Boulder City will too if they also make it past the DS.

I wanted Knockemstiff to stay in Silver for a while, so I could take care of the tables, but I guess I overcooked them slightly

The card limit is making Paxville's life a misery. I'm supposed to be ripping all of my packs and spending all of my points on packs... It's not supposed to be like this:

I spent quite a while yesterday getting rid of some cards, opened 61 packs and got the standard ratio of 6 non-duplicates (2 gold, 4 iron). Now I've got to go sorting again... I wish I could just open the 55 packs that I won yesterday!

Oh yeah, and I pulled my last historical diamond 2 weeks ago!

OL is BY FAR the biggest fun-factor in PT right now

Commiserations to Port Ruppert, but congrats to Coney Island!

Overall, rough year for OL with 4 teams heading back down to Gold (Mad Brewers just missed a relegation spot):

If it was me, I'd wait until the next pack sale of Perfect Packs, and I would chew up that 400,000+pp on those.

As for Keystone, making the playoffs, I am not feeling to good about it as we dropped our last 6 games.

Hopefully, we can get on a roll and go the distance instead of loosing the first series.......which has happen to me before!

Time will tell.........

heh, I'll second that... it's a nice problem to have

Waffletown only has 2526 cards in the inventory at the moment.... been trying to keep up with selling off duplicates (that are in missions) as I get them... usually toss them up for the L10 and check off the 'sell for min' if no one buys them to keep the inventory clear

have a handful of live golds and a couple live diamond dups i'm sitting on, as they are just a couple points shy of the next level, so hoping they get a bump at the end of the month with the live update

also have a number of other dups that aren't in missions right now.... figure it can't hurt to hang on to those in case they show up in a future mission and their price skyrockets in that first frenzy after mission release

Since we seem to have a problem with getting standings in the iron and below, I have decided to make my other two teams OL compliant, to serve as a stopgap. Neither has been actively managed, except for opening packs every three or four weeks. I did get rid of their their sellable live cards, deactivated the future legends, and bought some packs. Neither did very well with the packs, though they both completed some missions from the openings. Since I only plan on checking them on Sunday, I'm guessing they will hang around in iron, where they both are now, with the occasional dip into stone, as neither of them is a budding dynasty. Please add them to your friends list. Jason, I already added them to the spreadsheet.

Keystone lost their last 6 regular season games and then turn around and get swept in 3 games in the first round of the playoffs.

So much for having the best regular season record in the whole Silver League...

On other news, Keystone will be advancing to Gold for the first time in PT22.

You're right, I could have worse problems, and I feel a bit bad for moaning now...

I'll be reluctant to buy any perfect packs until there are a lot more big-time players in them, or missions have made the dodgy perfects more valuable! Just gonna keep grinding regulars for the foreseeable, saving PP and trying to be patient

Sorry you got dumped out of the playoffs. The Shiners have made the finals, and it's a shame they're not up against the Kops.
