I hope it works!

1. Exit OOTP if it's open.
2. Back up or rename your ballparks folder and database folder (located inside your data folder).
3. Download and unzip the file at the link above.
4. Copy the ballparks folder and database folder to your data folder. It should be okay to overwrite files (as long as you performed step 1).
5. Start OOTP. Now, the historical ballparks should load automatically when you replay a season between 1901-2020.

last question I hope... I made the backup and downloaded the folders. One is called ballparks and the other data base. Do I open each folder, copy the elements in each and THEN paste into the ballparks folder that I made backup of? Or do I just "copy" the two folders and paste the folders themselves into the ballparks folder?

Just copy the two folders and then paste them into the DATA folder.

This is where things get really confusing for me. OOTP22 has folders in two places on my hard drive- under program files and also in the documents folder of my C drive. Here are pictures of each. The one on the left is in program files and the one on the right is in the downloads folder.

Yes, that's confusing. The one on the right is where you paste the two folders. Paste them into the OOTP Baseball 22 folder.

Great! So just directly into the main folder?

Hurrah!

The rest should be a piece of cake. For the photos, you'll want to copy the photos themselves (once unzipped) and paste them into your PHOTOS folder. Someone else noted earlier that you'll want to go into settings (there's a link at the bottom of your OOTP start screen), select the 3D & Facegen tab, and then choose "search for photo first" for the Picture Search Mode.

Mind. Once you familiarize with the OOTP folders then things become easier. Pstrickert is a great guide for you. Before on my PC i believe most OOTP folders were under your C: OOTP Data. I use an X drive so each version is in its own folder OOTP 19-22.

Silvam has the stadium pack that you can download and dump into the ballparks - models folder. Put the text file in the appropriate spot under Data - database. He said it's not updating parks manually but that might have changed in the last few weeks.

Another thing you might like is awards. i love this file. i can point ya in the right direction to install it and i can attempt to walk you through it.

Also i recommend Reds1 & No Peppers historical jerseys. Both can be found in the mods forum . Advanced search helps.

Gambo has a historical logos set. some people are against classic Indians & Braves logos but for historical i still use them. Should be in the mods forum.

One correction: Do not simply rename the old folders. You'll need the original contents in them. So, just create a backup copy of those folders.

The Game is right about the ballparks. If you advance from one season to the next and one of the teams moves into a new ballpark, there's a problem. The old ballpark will still be used. The development team knows about this issue, so hopefully we'll see a fix soon.

I'm trying to figure out how to save pics of players from various seasons without having to override previous versions. Is there a way to make sub folders in the player photos folder? In other words, I'm playing 1975 and one set of pics shows up. I play 1981 and a different set shows up. Not sure if that's possible or how to do it. Thanks in advance!
