Setting up a historical replay season with ability to manage more than one team

Hi everyone,

I'd like to do a replay of the 76 season using OOTP22 but don't want to manage one specific team. I'd really choose a game or two a week for me to act as manager (different teams each week maybe) and then autoplay the rest. Is this possible in OOTP because I'm not seeing a way to do it. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! That definitely helped but still seems like I can only manage one game a day as, when I'm finished, the other games have also finished for the day. I'm sure that's also a settings issue. Just not sure which setting.

Select a game to play. When the game goes to the game preview screen you want to scroll down to the bottom of the top middle of the screen menu. Towards the bottom, you will find the option for sim current days game in background(wording is just a guess, I'm at work). Change that from yes to no and it will only play one game at a time.

In the pregame screen, set this to "NO" (see image, red underline)

No other games will play. You only have to do this once, it will become the default setting for all games until you change it back.

By the way, I play this way except that I control all of the teams. Hey, everyone has fun their own way! Anyway, one tip I've got for doing that, if you want to still get through seasons relatively quickly, is to sim until the 7th inning of each game. IMO all of the interesting strategic decisions happen late in the game anyway and it's a nice way to watch the league evolve while still exerting maximum control over it.
