Create Fictional Player
In regards to the player development stage dropdown when you create a fictional player:
When you create a fictional player and get to the "player development stage" (Raw, Halfway, Above Average, Fully Developed), does this dropdown selection directly affect player development or does it just construct a current and potential player ratings and its gap based on selection? So in essence the question is: do two players with the exact same ratings, but different development stages selected, act differently? ie Does a 40 current rating 80 potential rating "raw" player develop differently from a identical rating (40 current 80 potential) "fully developed" player thats exactly the same age? if not then I'm assuming that choosing raw or fully developed affects creating player ratings ie. raw creates a 20 current /40 potential player while a fully developed creates a 40 current /40 potential player and his variance in development only affected by randomness and age (assuming all other variables such as coaching and money..etc stays constant) Last edited by nerdynerd; 04-19-2021 at 01:12 AM. |

I was today years old when I learned there was CAP in OOTP. How do you do it? What menu do you go to in order to do this?

You have to be in Commissioner mode (under Manager options). Go to the FA page and in the upper right corner, click on 'Actions', and then 'Create fictional player(s)'.
