Port Ruppert added three to the streak by a combined score of 31-7, part of an OL losing streak of six. The three losses to Coney Island were only by a combined 26-7. The bottom seems to have dropped out for the Mundys. They've continued their home losing ways with a vengeance this year and now stand at 4-14 in the "friendly" confines. They just snapped a nine game losing streak during which they allowed 10 or more runs in six of the nine. The team ERA jumped from 3.20 to 4.98. No PP for "breaking" the slump because they had already collected that once for a losing streak in April. Didn't think Ryan Howard's addition would add power to our opponents. May not be able to hold off opening packs until Saturday morning. By the way, no need to post the Crakes logo. I think I found nearly the same picture. I feel your pain as I have been in that PT situation so many times that I have lost count. If the big boys aren't doing their job, there are plenty of guys on the bench who are waiting for a their chance.

Waffletown Gets Busy in OL I222
The Syrups have been knocking at the door throughout Cary's dominant reign in the OL throne room, but they finally kicked it open to take over the top spot. Sugar Hill will swing into action this month. Still no OL teams in relegation zone.

Stone 132 Update
Boulder City and South Holland made their moves this month, hopping to the top of the standings in Stone. As of today, 6 of the 8 playoff spots are held by OL teams. Go get 'em, boys!

My non-OL team pulled a 98 NL Willie Wells yesterday and I'm interested in selling him. There are 2 on the AH at around 160k, and the L10 is 185k but I would sell him to you guys for "only" 150k. If interested, PM me and we can work out the details (which I assume involves me posting it at a specific time when you're anxiously refreshing the AH listings).

Interesting day for OL championship in Iron-222
So today will be an interesting day in the OL standings as the Syrups will play Nowhere 7 times on today's schedule despite only having two matchups so far this season. So either Nowhere will get stuck with syrup, or Syrups will go from first to nowhere depending on how those games turn out.

Sugar Hill Gang will kick off their OL season in 4 seconds, when they play the first game in a three-game series with Southpaws. Time to see what they are "made" of.

I'm sticking with my usual pessimistic outlook and expect the bottom to fall out at any minute, as there seems to always be a cold streak to balance out the hot ones at some point (hopefully it doesn't wait until the playoffs )it's similar to that happy feeling you get when you log into the game and see 10 fresh packs waiting for you (32 team silver tourney win), only to find the best card you get from them all is an 81 rated Live gold |

Southpaws Grab Top Spot in OL I222
Cary turned in a sizzling 9-2 month to move into first place in what is now a firmly established three team race for the iron crown. Nowhere got the better of Waffletown in head-to-head play and pushed the Syrups into third. The Men were a red hot 8-2, while Waffletown was 8-5. Again no OL team faces relegation.

Nice work
Not trying to embarrass you, but I have really enjoyed your addition to OL. You're becoming my favorite scribe.I like the Commodores nickname, but also really like the Grays logo. I hope you'll consider just updating the logo, rather than a complete replacement.
I am also looking forward to Saturday morning in what seems to be a slog of a season. No hopes for the Mundys in OL, but could grab some PP for PT playoffs because they are lucky enough to be in an "average" division. They have turned it around a bit, creeping a bit above .500 as the pitching has rounded into form. The highlights were a Fred Fitzsimmons one-hitter followed by a Tommy Greene one-hitter in the same week. The bats are still weak, with the Ryan Howard insertion into the order a complete bust so far. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 04-22-2021 at 08:38 AM. |

I am having an unsuccessful week on the field and in the boardroom but I think I have a new logo that I will stick with (well, I will stick with it once the software decides to let me stick with it--which it does not appear to be something PT programmers are able to do). It represents the team spirit best (at least until the next focus group session).

Have you tried going into preferences, then trouble shooting, then upload team graphics, then submit yet? Often, after you've put in your new logo, that will help them to stick. Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times. but my logo has been in place for weeks (He said a half-hour before his graphics disappeared). |

Can we do what some of those soccer teams do in real life in that you "loan" him to me for a unspecified time period? ![]() ![]() Otherwise we will have a hard time agreeing on a price as I currently only have 5,500 pp !
