OOTP22 looks great on my laptop screen but when I move it to my second screen, which is much bigger, the player names are misaligned very badly and obscure the field.
Any suggestions? |

Yeah, it's understandable. Even I find it annoying at times, but other times, I do really love how it cuts and you get a different view of things as the play unfolds. We certainly do not expect everyone to love it - that's also why if you notice when you play out, it's on the options menu in-game so that it's easier to turn on and off if you want to.
Also a note, in the new public beta out just now (https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=326161), the "camera transition time" was balanced to act a little more on the dynamic camera too. If you play around with the reaction delay and the transition time, you can potentially impact how the cameras shift. And please do continue to provide feedback, especially for anyone in the "it's close but just sometimes it's a little off" group. We still definitely have plans to continue to work on it and improve it over time to better show off. And for anyone who plays in parks with extra camera angles, if you have any that you feel work particularly well with the dynamic angles, let us know too! We very much would like to potentially import and use those angles in the default parks too if they will help things. |

I found the frames per second adjustment on the opening screen settings. Changed it to 60 and the game is now very smooth.

I'd really like to get this worked out because right now the choppy, jumpy camera is making the game unplayable for me. |

I have follow ball and zoom on. No dynamic camera though. It is pretty smooth and I have an old hand me down laptop lol.

It looks like they're only enabled if you have the "Follow Ball" option enabled as well. I'll try to dig through and make sure those options are enabled when you have the dynamic action camera enabled but not using the follow ball logic.

I'll turn on Follow Ball to experiment a bit more. Can you clarify exactly what these two settings do and what effect changing them makes?

Any clarifications on what the various time settings do? I find that if you have dynamic camera and follow ball turned on there is often a dramatic camera shift right before a catch (whether off the bat or from another player) which makes it difficult to focus on the action. What settings would make it smoother so that the action is followed without the jarring cuts? Is turning off dynamic cameras the only choice to get this result?
