Random Stadiums?

In a fictional league in OOTP 21, every team has the same default stadium unless it is manually created. Will there be a way to generate random stadiums for every team all the way down through the minors with 22? Will it take the team's color scheme into account?

Don't hold your breath. That would be a major new feature and I think they would have mentioned it if it was included.

That actually seems incredibly simple. They already do that with ballpark measurements. All that would change is to also randomize/parameterize a few more options.

The graphics is the problem. Once the ballpark creator part of the game has enough graphical options, such an idea might be possible - but the number of options necessary to come up with a significant number of random ballparks designs that don't look stupid is a ton of work.

So if there aren't enough options to make every stadium unique, just make all stadiums identical?

I'm pretty sure I could have scripted it myself in the time it took to write these posts.

pop over to the mods section and check out the 3D models sub forum.... sticky notes at the top have some fantastic stadiums to download (just need to download the file, unzip it in the 'ballparks' folder, then update whichever team's park you want that to be).

takes a little time to get enough different parks for a full league, but once you have them setup, it does wonders for the experience.

I've downloaded 40 different parks for my Beer league so every team has a unique park.
