It would always crash on trying to pull up the league schedule for obvious reasons haha. The goal with it is to have teams play each other randomly without geographic influence, and then seed a huge tournament pool after 100 or so games. If it does work I’ll be sure to post about it on the fictional forum for 22.
I would love to see all the uniforms for these teams!

How many players like myself still have SEASON TICKET in the box???
I remember picking out Season Ticket Baseball from a bargain bin at Circuit City as a kid, the first version of OOTP I ever received, thanks dad!

Obviously a company that would think this great product should be in a bargain bin is no longer around, while OOTP only improves.

Markus and team, thanks for endless hours of fun literally as I grew up. This game improving is one of the few constants in life.

As others have said, I will happily order without knowing the new features. Anyone else is free to wait.

Well, did you have a bargain or not? Seems like Circuit City did everything correctly

Was wondering if a fix has been made to the issue of moving a league to the next version and keeping the stadium picture, 3d model and park factor info in tact. Last year, or maybe it was from 18-19, all my stadium data wouldn't move over to the next version. Having to add that all over again was no good.

Also, in OOTP 22, is there an option to change the age of players created for a feeder league? So far in 21, I get greyed out player creation max & minimum ages in my feeder leagues settings. I'd like to just be able to create the minimum age like version past.

Thanks for the consideration

Bottom line you can play a large league longer with 64 bits.
Ah, I see. I was also confused about what 64 bit means.

The one I mentioned is considered the consensus worst game of all time.

The basic answer is it lets the game use more memory

“A 32-bit system can access 232 memory addresses, i.e 4 GB of RAM or physical memory ideally, it can access more than 4 GB of RAM also.
A 64-bit system can access 264 memory addresses, i.e actually 18-Quintillion bytes of RAM. In short, any amount of memory greater than 4 GB can be easily handled by it.”

Should allow for bigger saves and quicker simulating and saving in those games.

Yeah, I heard of it. I was more referring to ATS that was mentioned before (and ETS2), which along with OOTP (version whatever) is the sort of game I have played constantly for the last almost-decade.

The 64-bit is going to help my big world games a lot!

I remember on OOTP15 (whenever I had the massive Euro game), it took at best 15 minutes to advance a day.

Perfect Draft? Really when so much of the game could use an overhaul?

Need to fix pitcher roles and how fielding ratings and experience works. Both could use a complete overhaul.

MLB just finished a complete overhaul of the minor leagues. Has this restructure made it into OOTP 22?

It was only the trailer so I'll reserve judgement. Plus overhauling Pitchers would likely require a lot of work to account for historical play and all and it's only really been the last few years where the roles have kind of disappeared.

The newsletter today said that the minor league system overhaul and rule changes for this upcoming season are modeled and including.

I have no idea how recent historical replays going from 2019 to 2021 will be handled.
Will the minor league team disappear and those players dumped into the FA pool? Will you get a chance to protect those players?

Who knows

Linux is only available on Steam now, so it will be available once the Steam version is, at release.

Gents,

With the improved 3D Ballpark Construction kit (2.0) will constructions built with previous versions of OOTP still be 'valid' to use in OOTP22?

One thing I've wanted with OOTP since the game introduced sound is a more emphatic third strike call. Something like "STREEEEEEEEEEK!" The kind of call you hear in actual MLB games, where the batter looks up with a pained expression on his face.

I was just playing a game in OOTP21 and it was a really exciting game. But at the last strikeout the umpire just said "strike three." It sounded like "strikethree," but so matter of fact, so without feeling.
