Personality Ratings

Hey guys, I'm new to playing OOTP and I have a question regarding the personality ratings, specifically greed. Because it is a negative attribute, would a low rating mean a player is greedy? Or does a higher rating mean higher greed?

High greed is greedy

It should be in red
In OOTP red/orange is bad and green/blue is good

What do you mean by red? I have never seen a color change in the numbers. Is there a place that shows these numbers in green and red?

The two traits that I have seen to be bad when high are greed and controversy. Then add in low leadership, loyalty, work ethic and that's where you get your greed, disruptive, outspoken, and selfish players.

Now I have not played long but I like to play with numbers so I did sit and try and figure these out.

Leadership 150+ very good to have and 100+ is ideal
Work Ethic 120+ is very good and if you want a sparkplug on your team 160+
Greed the lower the better
Adaptability once again used for sparkplug 140+ needed

For leadership qualities it is leadership 100+, Loyalty 100+ and Work Ethic 100+ and for Captain you want that leadership 150+

Sparkplug is Work Ethic 160+, Adaptability 140+ and Controversy 80 or below.

Prankster is leadership 100+ and then Handle Success, Handle Failure, and Handle Critics are all 140+

And with some aspects that I have read, sometimes a players popularity can affect some things as well. That I have not played around with too much. I think that might be the FanFav personality which seems to be 110 Loyalty, 130 Work Ethic, and local popularity of popular+. Not sure what other traits are affected this way though.

It's not really even a "better" thing when it comes to Greed; a player with a higher Greed will just look for more money in contracts. If they're still on their rookie deal, it won't matter much at all. If they're in arbitration it won't matter a whole lot either. If you're willing to be the highest bidder, it won't matter much. It's really only when you're dealing with a veteran and you're trying to convince them to take a hometown discount or to sign for less to play for a winning team that it really comes into effect.

This is from the profile page of a reliever on my team. As you can see, any trait that shows up in green is a positive trait- in this case of this player he has high loyalty and work ethic and low greed. All positive things for me as his manager/G.M. On the other hand, he has low adaptability, a less positive trait. Therefore it shows up in orange (to my eyes, perhaps it is red to others.)

Also, through my testing, it seems the overall morale of higher greed players will be greatly affected by their personal performance.

Low greed players won't really care about their personal performance. Their performance morale will still be affected the same, it just won't affect their overall morale.

That was just what I was going to ask because mine does not show what is in his picture. I will go and check that.
