Fictional World Question
For those of you that have messed with the world file I have a question. I created a six state nation with a 80+ cities that has a total population of just over 50 million people. Everything is fine except for when I start a game the stadiums have a capacity of 300 to 400 people only. Now my largest city is just over 1.1 million and my smallest is about 50,000 people I think. I am not looking for 40,000 seat stadiums but I feel the capacities of the stadiums should be over 300 to 400 people. Anyone have any experience with this that can lend a hand? Thanks for reading.

I did not know about that. Thank you. Now if I can only figure out why my stadium capacities start so small.

Is yours built in a completely custom world?
I have one that creates players predominantly from the smallest cities and I can’t figure out why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You may want to check all the settings you're using to create the league, including the year (if you're using historical settings), financials, and attendance.
You can edit the capacity of any ballpark in your league manually. But it seems likely that something else in your league settings is driving the low capacities upon league and ballpark creation. I recently created a 1901 fictional historical league, and all my ballpark capacities were similar to yours. But that makes sense given the year and my financial settings, which are designed to reflect an independent baseball league at that time. However, I still raised the ballpark capacities considerably higher to avoid possible financial issues and reflect the possibility that certain games might attract much bigger crowds. |

Yes, it is a completely custom world. I have not looked to see which cities the majority of my players come from yet. I will be looking into that.

if you're making it an 'independent' league (rather than a 'major' league), the game is probably setting the average attendance low, so the ballparks are being structured around that expected number....
just created an independent league to check it.... the financials tab had the expected attendance at 2000, and the majority of the ballparks had capacities around that (though one snuck in with 48000 ).... went to create the same league setup only as a 'major' league, and the expected attendance was 50000; and all the teams had parks with capacities at/over that number... so I'd say check that field in the initial setup and set it to what you want... might have to edit a couple parks that sneak through that don't fit the theme but that's easier than having to edit them all |

Your stadium starting capacities are typically randomly created based on the Average Attendance setting within your financials.
