You should be able to use the automator and just not have the "break if trades pending" selected.

I'm gonna feel real silly when I notice this I'm sure, but I cannot find this button. I started a new 60-game standard season (not live start or challenge mode) and I can't find this button. Which "draft page" is it on and what's the button called?

Oh, weird. I can try it again the next time trades are pending but that check box was not ticked when I attempted it the first time.

It only shows up on draft day if you haven't started the draft (or even hit the "start draft" button).

Oh wow, thanks! I was just getting to the draft with the "continue" button set to one week so I never saw that option, it just goes straight to the draft page.

Ah, it looks like there was a bug where we were ignoring that checkbox and always running that check. So yeah, for now I guess if you have trades pending you won't be able to use the automator. We'll be sure to fix that for the next patch whenever that might be.

Ah, I was just about to follow up that it failed again (despite the checkbox not being ticked). OK, so that makes sense. Look forward to the next patch correcting that then, lol.

Question, even though the minors are being skipped, will development still occur? For example, I usually sign a groundball pitching coach for a few Red Sox pitching prospects, should I do that in 2020 or will it not matter?

Is there a way to adjust the start time for the minors? The farm system season started in July 2021 instead of with the start of the MLB season for the same year.

Well, this is normal for the short season leagues. AAA-A should still have started in April though.

Mine didnt, they dont start till July for all long season minors. Says games were postponed

Just a quick question. After starting a new game with the 2020 season, after the season is complete and going into 2021, will the schedule go back to 162 games automatically? Or will we have to import a schedule manually?

Mine was live start as well. There were no minor league seasons for 2020 as expected but all of the minors started late in 2021.

1. Rosters are updated already in that players are on the right teams. We'll have never have fully accurate 40-man rosters though, as it's much better for the AI to let it pick its own rosters. That avoids lots of releases and roster churn once you start simming.
