y people like facegens

I personally don't like face gens as opposed to photos
However, i guess finally see why people like them.
The face gens allow you to have correct uniforms for players where as the photos work well for historical season with actual transactions.
It does not work when you don't use transactions or have import pics for each season

Is that why everyone loves face gens??

I only play fictional, so it's my only option for player pictures. But if I did play historical, it would drive me crazy if my player pictures showed players in the wrong uniform.

Well that.. and their expressions change, which is kind of cool. I can see who's happy and who's mad just by looking at their pictures.

I can't think a way of doing the uniforms dyanimcally for photos.
I do wish they would make allowances for multiple photos and year extensions on the file name. That would help automate the yearly photos when you do seasonal replays.

I wish the face gen didn't have the steroid facial bloat feature

while attaching some old black and white photo to a player works fine with other baseball sims it just never seemed to feel right in ootp. Ootp players deserve better than some static picture.

Yeah, as a person who plays all fictional, I too enjoy FaceGen quite a bit. Sure, it's just a little bit of flavor, but it's a fun bit of flavor, and when you're watching historical leagues it's additionally a fun bit of flavor in seeing players wearing the uniforms of the time period.
