There are more of these, will try to track them as I go.

Spritze, I'm hoping you can help me out a bit. I'm trying to find the codes to perhaps use to import the following Japanese Hall of Famers into my game as players, if possible, at some point, at least once. I am wondering if they're in the game's databases, but here is a list of players I'm still trying to find codes for. I realize that at least a few of them may not be in the databases, including statistical records for them as players, but I'm still looking for the following players, in terms of codes for them, at least:

Nobuaki Nidegawa
Shuichi Ishimoto
Sadayoshi Fujimoto
Tsunetaro Moriyama
Seiichi Shima
Masayori Shimura
Reiichi Matsunaga
Tokichiro Ishii
Kichiro Shimaoka
Shinji Kirihara

There are probably others I've still to find statistics and all for, but these are the ones I'm mainly looking for now, or may need codes for, at least, if I don't already have them. I'm trying to collect codes for members of Hall of Famers, mainly, for multiple dynasties, you see. And next, I'll probably be looking for codes related to Negro League Hall of Famers, if I haven't already begun doing so.

Any help you can provide here would most certainly be greatly appreciated, of course. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Please post the requested codes, if you have them, in my related General Discussions thread for the OOTP 20 section of the forums, if you don't mind? CD out.

I have a historical league starting in 1994 and am now finishing 2018. I had Ozhaino Albies in my farm system and he "retired" in 2016 and then "Ozzie" Albies won ROY with another team in 2017. I then made sure they were the same person in real life and they are.



I now see in the 2018 draft pool that Eloy Jimenez and Pete Alonso among others are in the draft. I have "Peter Alonso" who just retired after the 2018 season and "Pete Alonso" is in the draft. When I saw this on Sept 15th, I called him up from AAA to see if maybe having him in MLB would prevent this from happening again. No such luck. Eloy has not retired though so I'm thinking this has something to do with names changing. Since Eloy is in the draft though I'm not sure how it's going to handle it. I just started the off-season so I haven't got to the draft yet.



I think there are others as well. FYI - Alonso was still at AAA because Miggy was in the last year of his contract and I already had Mancini and Josh Bell.



Randomly, separately from the main point of this post and maybe just bad luck but Zach Britton has had 20 control for some reason the last 2 seasons and ERAs 7+.

I stumbled on the UniversalHistoricalFaceGen mod, so I doubt I will find more of these, having installed those.

I've imported a large number of historical players from various years. All of the ones I've imported from 2018 and 2019 have comically ridiculous ratings. 2018 Trout is a 2-star player with 25 CON and 30 EYE. Many others have completely incorrect or missing defensive information. 2019 Arrenado is listed as a left fielder with terrible range. I started off trying to adjust these manually, but they keep coming. 2018 Scherzer has the potential to be 1-1/2 stars. 2019 Strasburg has 40 Stuff. 2019 deGrom has 25 Control.

Everyone from the 1870s through 2017 is fine, but anyone that I imported using their 2018 or 2019 year is garbage. All players were imported at the same time in the same manner, via a comma-delimited text file using their bbref ID.

It looks like theOrange had some similar issues back in March, but I don't see any mention of a solution.

1954 Steve Gromek of the Tigers is not Steve Gromek, instead his first name is Macomb County and his last name is Steve.

Not sure if this is a DB issue, or code based, but starting a 2019 Blue Jays Historical lineup game, with real historical rookies ends up with the following issue:

SS Bo Bichette on Active Roster, AAA Roster
2B Cavan Biggio on AAA Roster Twice (Once as 2B, Once as 3B)
3B Vladimir Gurerrero Jr. on Active Roster and A Roster
SP Jordan Romano on Roster Twice (Once on AA and on AAA as RP)
SP Jacob Waguespack on Active and AAA Roster
SP T.J. Zeuch on A Roster and on Active Roster as RP

I tested this with other years and got Cavan Biggio to show up twice as a 1B with a 2018 Start.

Is this due to the "use historical rookies" being checked?

Edit: Tried unchecking the historical rookies box and while if fixed the duplicate players, it also wiped out anything beyond AAA and AA, the whole farm system, and the proper team names.

Just checked the boards to see if this was on here. He also came in through free agency instead of the draft for my upcoming 1941 season and is listed at 15 feet tall.

And Elrod Hendricks, who is in the DB as Hispanic which may be true (I dunno), but graphically, he needs to generate as African.

someone at ootp updated steves birthplace to include a comma which shifts everything in csv files. connas should not be used in csv files as data.

What I mean is there should be a way where Elrod Hendricks is generated in the game looking vaguely akin to Elrod Hendricks, Hispanic or not (or Pedro Guerrero or Pascual Perez or dozens of others). Now, it's quite random as to whether the facegen "works" or not.

I mean, others can disagree with that premise, for sure. But I'd like to see it ...

quillenl help discovered this one while we were troubleshooting in this forum https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=318656

When playing historical league with full minor leagues, using the minor league database, "Automatically Import Historical Rookies" on, and "Basing Ratings" on Neutralized Stats, the pitchers in the MLB Draft Pool have dramatically reduced stamina. Normally a draft pool has over 100 starting pitchers to fill out the majors and minors over time. These pools had anywhere from 2 to 17 depending on some other settings.

Our solution was to change the ratings to base off Real stats. So the bug we'd like to report is there's something going wrong with Neutralized stats in the minor league database. Possibly the majors too but I'm not sure.

EDIT: I added to file called "Historical 1982 Padres.zip" to your FTP site for further research if needed.

I started a league in 1951. Steve Gromek was listed as:
First Name : Macomb County
Last Name: Steve
Nickname : Stephen Joseph
Height : 457cm - Needless to say he topped the list of tallest players in the league at 15 feet tall !!!
