EDIT: Ewa Beach did not have 10 games played, so the next team down in the standings, Daytona Beach captures the crown.

Ewa Beach and Daytona Beach are meeting in the Iron221 World Series, so we will have an OL Champ in that league.

As of this post, the Scorpions have advanced to the I221 World Series. They are 7-0 so far in the playoffs...I'm sure I jinxed them with that stat!

Yes they are....Their long name blocked the "-OL" when I went to the team vs team page. Ill include them and get updated standings up shortly.

The JV Rebels have made it to the Series in Silver. The Rebels and Rustlers will be getting promoted.

All eight teams in Diamond will be remaining in Diamond and awaiting anyone who may be getting promoted from Gold

Ok: I am in the process of selling off ALL of my SE cards. I want my own team identity instead of the cookie cutter SE cards.

I've got 10 cards left to sell and will net @380-40K from that. I have 223K so far in the bank from what I have sold so far. I have been very cognizant of price points and timing to maximize my PP.

I will probably take the standard route. Great D up the middle and power at the corners. My bankroll will allow an average of 12-15K per primary player. This should get me a low-mid diamond at each position. I would like to have one marquee hitter and one really good #1 starter and I may splurge in the 20-25K range to get him. I have the player spreadsheet and will acquire all my hitters first. I also have the pitcher formula to target bargain pitchers. Getting 5-7 packs per week in tourneys and will use PP earned to build and upgrade players. Goal is to be a competitive Diamond team by year's end.

What a surprise! Suddenly, it won't let me check on other leagues. It's back to the kitchen for a little bit more prep for tomorrow, but I'm guessing we'll know who won PT 21's first OL World Series in an hour or so, and also whether any other OL teams won PT titles. I check in later. By the way, please make sure to check your friends list and submit. As it turned out, I did not miss putting in bailey's team. I just didn't see them when I was checking my list. Let's be sure to get them in this time.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I convinced them to stay with us, as well as my older son, which I'm grateful for. Anyway, I will be cooking for their anniversary dinner, so I will be quite busy with baking and cooking. The only shortcut I'm taking is broth for the soup. Had nothing to make my own. With that in mind, the posting of crowns, etc., may have large gaps of time. I've attached the menu.


By the way, next year they're kicking around a four horseman theme.

Mmm. Japanese cotton cheesecake sounds so good. Death, pestilence, war, and famine as a food theme? What would that be like?

They say a pack is worth like five hunnert something PP. I went back to PP cause my pack luck has been horrible.

The eight teams from last week welcome Hamtramck, Hidden Valley and Norwood. Shinbone is the only team in a division on their own with four teams in the NC Central, two teams each in the AC East, 2 in the AC West and two in the NC East.

I will take Diamond this week-unless someone really wants it.

Coney Island pulled a 99 Willie Mays from a pack this morning, otherwise returning the same team that ended last season with adjusted strategies and pitching rotation. The lofty goal is to reach .500 this season.

We seem to have missed Midwest. They are on my friends list are in a different Gold league. The teams that did make it are pretty spread out. Also meeting up with some BFF teams along with a couple of the teams that got promoted from our Silver league last week. Some pretty stiff competition this week.

I think MidWest pulled out of the OL mix awhile back (shows as N/A on the spreadsheet right now), so think we're good there.

only team I see that missed this season is Ewa Beach. Check your friends lists (especially in Bronze) and make sure they are covered (Silver can't hurt as well in case they move up again).... easy to miss just looking at the team/manager screen since the OL tag doesn't really show since it runs off the screen.

Only 2 teams in Stone this week...myself and Ft. Huachuca....but we play 15 games against each other according to the early schedule. Looks like a two team race for the title.

I plan on making player purchases this week so my team should be at rock bottom (no pun intended) this week.
