The bad news... the Colonels were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

The good news... An upset in the other bracket gave me the third-best record of the quarter-final losers, so I will be repeating sixth grade (gold) for the sixth time.

At least the Seawolves improved over last week by winning their division.

Cartier Cutthroasts are well funded and favorites to win. Freedom favorite in the AC.

And predictions do come true...after taking leads of 2-0 and 3-2 the Dawgs drop 2 at home to get bounced. My lineup is pretty strong in the eye dept.....drop the deciding game to "Walk the Park and even your divisions parks" JR Richard who walked...1..... You just gotta laugh at how crazy this engine is at times....

Paragon City won the first two of the sub league series then dropped 4 in a row

Lugnuts are currently 3-2 up

Boomers lost the WC game

Something of a statistical oddity (maybe).

Two years in a row, my George Sisler and Babe Ruth have tied for home run champion.

I don't think I've ever had a score this low. I wonder if zero is possible?

Meanwhile, my 3rd team, the Dum Dum Bengals won their Bronze League championship after an 88-win team defeated a 118-win team in the LCS 4 game to none.

The ouster of my FTP expansion team in the Rookie League Division Series (to the division rival with 109 wins to my 103) was only mildly disappointing today. They had some of the Live missions completed and were playing a far better hand than some of my bronze cards who gave it everything they had, but dropped a difficult Game 5 in a walkoff.

But the BIG news was that the Brick Green Dragons are the Champions of Bronze .245!!! Finally -- a PT Championship! What a great year --- and without a doubt, the most clutch player and MVP of the team -- the Carl Yastrzemski SE 1967 (99). 5 HR and 18 RBIs in the playoffs, to go with a regular season line of .342/.423/.571/.994. He, along with SE Mike Piazza were mid-season additions that carried the team in the 2nd half. My HH Jose Altuve also gets the hat tip for leading the Bronze .245 AC in hitting and also having a fantastic post-season.

On to Silver! Keep my seat warm in Bronze, fellas.

Gotten 5 perfects the last 3 days, which is lucky, but no new ones, which is unlucky. 2 duplicate Bellingers, a duplicate Cole, a duplicate Yelich, and a duplicate Gehringer. At least the Gehringer is nice value.

Anyway, as for the playoffs, White Tigers won in an upset in the wild card but got swept in the divisional, PT20 White Tigers lost in 5 games in the sub-league series after an upset win in the divisional, and the PT20 Golden Lions blew a 2-1 lead in the divisional.

In their 2nd foray into Diamond, the Manatees found themselves in a division with a whale, yet still managed to finish above 500 while being over 40 games off the division lead and 5 games short of the wildcard. A much better experience that their last trip, which barely netter 50 wins.

The Iron Manatees were competitive in their Gold League's division all year, winning it in a game 163 playoff, then losing the Sub-League series in 7. If the Pro/Rel standings are to be trusted, they're moving on up to join their unarmored cousins.

The Mets were likewise competitive in their Gold League, sneaking off with a division win after dropping 8 of their last 10 in the regular season then customarily losing their divisional series. That loss meant they avoided promotion to diamond.

I'm kinda glad I won't be able to pay much attention to them next week.

And I did that twice in PT20. I need to see playoffs a few more times to experience it in 21.

I'm worried that I will have a team that doesn't even deserve a zero...I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that happens.
